IRIS-T intercepting cruise missiles is not impressive? LOL.
A lot of AGMs are barely subsonic in standoff ranges. So kind of harder to defeat

It seems they are hiding behind their source requirements to justify nerfing the SLM before it has even been released. Well screw it, maybe I can get lucky and DIEHL will act to prevent this gross misrepresentation of their missile defense system. I sent this to the pr email on the DIEHL website and maybe they will reply.
“To whom it may concern,
Good morning. I am contacting you concerning the public representation of the surface launched medium range IRIS-T missile.
Unfortunately, the IRIS-T SLM system is currently being mis-represented in comparison to its modern counterparts in the popular realistic vehicular combat simulator War Thunder. The SLM is being modeled currently and it is being represented as having a top speed of 710 m/s, a maximum g-overload of 40g, and an effective range of around 15km. It also misses when intercepting various air-to-ground munitions.
The IRIS-T SLM is currently set to be overshadowed by the Pantsir SAM system when I believe that the SLM should out perform such systems in almost every metric.
The accurate representation of the IRIS-T SLM in this form of media provides free public awareness of it’s effectiveness, and likewise, its misrepresentation will lead people to believe it is incapable of competing with its contemporaries.
I can submit bug reports to have the SLM accurately represented but the report requirements are extensive and barring a clear report from the manufacturer, stating capabilities, the report will not be accepted.
I would ask that you provide specifications as to the capabilities of the IRIS-T SLM that are already publicly known and available but may not be collected together in one direct source. Any and all clarifications on capabilities would be appreciated but specific areas of focus would be the SLM’s effective range, maximum range, top speed, resistance to DIRCM, and maximum g-overload.
I greatly appreciate your time and I hope that we can work together to accurately portray the effectiveness of the IRIS-T SLM.

cruise missiles are mostly subsonic missiles , they travel at like mach 0.5 - 0.8(terminal stage) . if they were in war thunder u would feel like shooting at ai jets moving in a straight line or moving in a zig zag pattern which would be easy to predict for modern AD systems and they are also slower than super sonic fighters/missiles so its much easier to intercept. its even easier if you consider drones which travel at 100-300kmph , even if they maneuver hard at long range it would still be easy for the missile to hit.

I submitted at least like 4 to 5 websites tell that IRIST has 60g and 60 degress/sec of turn rate
, and the bug report guys simply said, “Such sites are not sources”.

if that doesn’t work, try reaching out to the manufacturer of the rocketmotors all iris-t missiles use (regular, sl/slm, and all other iris-t models) “NAMMO”.

just that report with this sources was doomed to get the not a bug/not enough data label from the moment it was send.
