Iris-t slm

machMax and maxSpeed are both statcard values, just one for Mach and one for m/s. The only true speed limit is endspeed, which on your screenshot is 1000 m/s.

Yep, this one is for the SLS, while the SLM has also the Mach 3 as Machmax but than the Endspeed of 700m/s

I dont think RCS matters in this case, as it is in terminal, and thats where seeker kicks in

The Radar itself also struggles to pick them up on a reliable matter.

At least from my perspective.

Idk, most of the problem it had for me was sending the TWS into outer space

yea, we are currently testing stuff and once its more than 1 munition it has issues

so SLM still needs its endspeed corrected to 1000.0 currently its 700.0(mach 2) and will be limiting factor

So now the performance of the IRIS-T SLM is terrible, right?

its not Terrible, but also not realy perfect…
against planes, it cant hit beyond 25km… should be 40km btw…
its to slow, resulting in the wrong 25km range currently…
G-overload is questianable same with Warhead

Against Munitions: If its just 1 single munitions fired/Dropped, you can try it…if multiple: just J-out and spawn something else

But I heard that at 9km he could not hit high-speed targets

I’m very worried that he will be like a typhoon, and his performance will not match reality

lmao, i just realised why we didnt had kills at 30km and so on… self destruct is currently after 40 seconds

Test against AASM;

lmao, after watching the replay its just the 1st launcher which has the 40s self destruct

So it seems the seeker can’t pick up enemy munitions?
Like at all.

2nd launcher

This is also a good example of the missile being too slow. It’s supposed to be able to get to 30km range in 60 seconds, yet it takes 78 seconds to get 24km away. The problem is that I’ve got no source for that flight time other than an ancient article describing a 2015 test.
