For targets far away it’s not supposed to accelerate directly towards them, but fly at an inclined trajectory up to high altitude where the atmosphere is thinner, and then glide back down.
For example, during tests to hit a 30km distance target, the missile’s apogee was 12km.
You can technically take smth like a Scout drone or very small rocket / missile and try with that.
In theory, while these very likely still have a higher RCS than 0.01 m², if its not able to see these you know the Radar is no where near the 0.01m² detection.
Not that we are aware of, the (Issue) is that you need to first guide the missile via datalink (which isnt working properly in game for any SAM currently)
Thw reason is thw Aerodynamik cap on top of the SLM, you need first DL connection that the Missile knows in which direction its supposed to go, after that the Missile could Jettison the Cap and go Terminal
Yeah, and also a lot of reports say it’s capable of Mach 3. At 700m/s It would be a very dumbed-down missile, and that’s why it can’t reach 60 Gs at that speed. Also, the SLS is a Mach 2 missile.
