Iris-t slm

gepard is not missing ahead, the gepard was never ahead capable.
The gepard1a2 is missing FAPDS, not ahead

worry that we will have simiar situtation to fim-92 that are 2.2 mach capable but are only 1.96 mach rn with lower G’s

PUMA and LYNX missing proper ahead implementation

not exactly true either.
What do you define as proper implememtation?
The AHEAD shrapnel count is to low and might dissapear a tad bit to fast.
but that can be explained with server performance measures as well.
It does at least properbly programm now.
To realy use it effectively u need to use an spaa with a fast fire rate, which the puma and lynx just are not.
The chinese spaa is a better example

oh they did recently? because it was not programmable and 2s38 was far superior in taking down helicoters

for taking out rush helis it works great, 2s38 still is better cause its proper proxy of course and flies further
but the programming is fixed since quite a while

but on the offical website it states its a big improvement over the sls so they gota atleast make them the same in terms of speed and pull.

You could try with the Bundeswehr Website as well I guess?

Tho given you’ve already shown them 6 sources from Diehl directly idk what more they could want

We have an plan allready how to )))
But it will likely some time…

Also, on the report with the 6 sources, that the LinkedIn arent taken as source, okay
But the other seems wierd

I really hope they fix this before the live update. Right now, the missile behavior is completely off. It doesn’t actually turn it just yanks hard off the rail with maybe 40° AoA initially to line itself up, then drops to around 25° AoA in flight. And that’s with TVC, which should allow for far sharper post-launch maneuvering. Compare that to something like the R-73, which can hit 70° AoA with TVC and still turn aggressively throughout the envelope. The highest G-load I’ve seen from it was 29G way below the 40G it’s supposed to be capable of. I even tested the MICA EM at 150 km speed at 500m alt in the Rafale; it pulled over 50G and held more than 50° AoA like it was nothing. That’s the kind of performance we should be seeing across the board. If they don’t fix this, it’s just going to break realism and throw off high-level engagements.

yea the german irst slm that has been combat proven in ukraine and tested many many times with multiple sources reporting its speed of mach3 is a marketing lie , but russian equipment is perfect and russians would never lie, lol these devs man , absolutly usless

the wind Tunnel Testing Diehl’s 2018 tests confirmed the missile achieves Mach 3.2 at 15 km with a boost thrust profile “exceeding 200 kN” (Janes Defence, 2019).
this more than just oh it can’t be Performing like that because it’s not Russian or marketing lie

amazing hope you get 1m if you can do it

Saab quotes a speed of Mach 3 for the air-to-air version, but I don’t know how useful that is

Nothing at all, we realy need the value of the SLM

So Gaijin asking for “another” sekrit dokumintz?

Well if you talking about realism, many stuff in the game not realistic. Such as KH-38MT afaik only mock up. Or something like new ship that never build and smh Gaijin know how everything that never build works, meanwhile Gaijin didn’t know something that already exist and tested works (and some even already battle proven).

Frankly speaking this is getting frustrating, first report was due to 3rd party websites being unreliable sources and now official sources from diehl defence gets a classic appropriate source copy paste.

Can we please get some moderator that actively looks at data to look into this?

You could try reaching out to the manufacturer of the rocket motors for the entire IRIS-T family if missiles
