Iris-t slm

Absolute joke on so many levels. They neutered the IRIS-T SLM to such an extent it’s basically Stinger 2.0. Range wise, speed wise, G wise, how easy it is to counter when it should be virtually impossible.

And as usual, it’s the same guy doing it. The one who closed other lengthy posts within a minute of them being posted without even enough time to read things.

Yet you have zero experience with it, wonder why.

“no i use Meat AI not chat gpt”

wow is this guy trusted man they actually starting to get annoying if they actually doing this

Yes he is trustworthy

It is one of the few reliable leakers
He also leaked the Swiss hornet for this update

I have this weird feeling that they might be just sliding down the specs for now because they are implementing something “new” something maybe like “arm” and they might be doing it while this nerfs going on in order to avoid public backlash. this way it wont be so concerning for players during the dev server. but maybe just maybe

edit.one part of me wants to believe this

They introduced SBU and Kh-38 to make players angry and hopeless, they then “sell us” the solution which are the new SAMs, increase the hype cycle and bring back players but do so in a nerfed state, and then release SEAD to give these SAMs their untapped potential.

But it seems step 2 has backfired horribly, they seriously expected players to accept these AAs in such a horrid and pathetic state, all while buffing Kh-38 in the process lmao. Gaijin plans things ahead of time with the goal of stretching and extending the lifetime of the game, which is honestly okay but Gaijin being Gaijin…

i get it ,but im also actually saying maybe after recent tests they see they need to to publish arm missiles(something like agm88) after realising how strong missiles are. maybe they are working on it before holiday break. it feels less realistic they will drop an update with powerfull spaa"s and no anti radiation missiles and keep some nations being bombarded becasue all of their powerfull sides are cas.

but ofcourse these are just maybe

Nah.

The time between the introduction of the kh-38MT and these new systems is way too long.

I think the KH-38MT issue is just a matter of negligence in following their own supposed standards, an almost unbelievable lack of ability or willingness to respond to a crisis and feeling embarrassed they’ve been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

The other possible explanations are even worse for gaijin, so who knows.

I can say this though, I’ve not seen such… resentment and anger over something like these new sam systems in a long time. I guess this leads me back to the inability to respond to a crisis.

The missile shouldn’t be in the game to begin with as it doesn’t exist outside of a mockup. Not a single person has been able to show a functional missile besides a picture of it being mounted on a plane from a brochure given out during a Chinese airshow in 2024. Even then that doesn’t prove that its a functional missile.

Hammers exist, KH38MT does not.

Anyways, this is off-topic again.

To bring it back into topic, are the new SAMs able to even detect the KH38ML/MT while they’re in the air? Its very rare to see the MT get intercepted in game, the only time you see any sort of interception is when you pop smoke at the right time, but SPAA doesn’t seem to shoot them down for the most part.

They already said ARMs are coming and are actively being worked on.

The argument that ARMs are needed to balance these systems is pretty stupid though, thr Kh-38ML/T and the AASM’s all outrange every new syztem added, even if fixed.

The whole point of adding these systems was allegedly to “fix the overperformance of CAS in ground battles” but as it stands, they arent even going to have a significant impact on the lower end munitions currently in the meta like AGM-65.

The only jet actually negatively effected by these new additions are the Eurofighters, and only cuz they refuse to give them Brimstone II/III, or F&F Brimstone I.

Experience in custom battles doesn’t show.

It doesn’t count, lol

Looks like Germany will be left with no CAS to speak of once again, at least the Swiss F-18 will get some AGMs… and probably the reason why it was given its full ordinance.

https://youtu.be/vb2zBKeSka0 , if only the IRIS-T SLM would be implemented in the game like this, man.

Then my point stil stands.

No it doesn’t as I have experience with Pantsir, which is something you tried to use to deny my claims, all the while my claim initially used other people’s videos as evidence.

I guess that Pantsir missing at <10km of range is a hoax or, at the very least, definite proof of skill issues from the operator.

Sorry but I cannot believe your claim when hard evidence shows otherwise.

According to statistic you never played with Pantsir which is the only fact that applies for talking from experience.

And yes, of you’re missing a target that is in 10km range while using Pantsir it’s mostly your fault.

Trying to justify the addition of Pantsir is unacceptable.

Experience is not only tied to public matches, you should know that.

Again, handwaving arguments that doesn’t suit you by using “skill issue” is funny.
Pantsir was a great addition, others not getting something similar is a shame though.

Pantsir was terrible addition when no other nation had similar systems, especially when most planes didn’t event have RWR that could detect K-Band.

Even now Gaijin nerfed upcoming Spaa’s so bad that they cant even perform at their 30 percent capacity compare to real life.

Like it or not Pantsir is more than capable of dealing with enemy units even from +13Km’s, if you can’t do it then it’s on you, not on system.
