And that’s not all! Ever since the Kh-38ML got GNSS , they can be launched from the airfield (while barely taking off the runway), without you not needing have a LOS on the target at all, and they will fly all the way from 15 or so km from the runway to the ground map, it is busted.
So this means people are gonna be launching these like artillery from the safety of their airfields XD
Hey @Smin1080p_WT do me a favor and go correct SLM’s devblog from “range of 40km’s” to “barely reaches 20km’s before it falls out of the sky but is already nearly useless at 10km’s”, thanks. At least then y’all won’t be lying to the players looolll.
Pantsir: 72kg missile that transports 5kg of explosives at 1300m/s
IRIS-T SLM: 155kg missile that transports 4.5 of explosives at 720m/s
Obviously a good part of the extra 84kg is propellant, so it can’t possibly go slower and less far than the Pantsir’s missile. Laws of energy conversation, energy doesn’t simply disappear and there is no reason why it should have a lot more friction.
Gaijin is once more totally ignoring common sense and fundamentals of physics. Almost like the Namer that weighs over 64tons but has no armor. If something weighs 64 tons, that weight needs to be somewhere. How nice it would be if common sense and physics would be an accepted source.
