Realistically, its probably not even hitting a maneuvering jet beyond ~10-15km with those speeds

They’ve probably decided that M3.0 is another case of a “clear marketing lie”, and that the 40km max range is the range of a M2.0+ target coming directly at the SLM battery when fired

But that would make the SLM useless, as we see now it can’t pull 60 Gs. The SLS would be superior in WT, and if you read from dataleaks, Mach 3 is mentioned in files, but the end speed is capped at 700 m/s (Mach 2). I hope they make it as it should be and not another FIM-92K launcher, which is not that good.

As you tested, the speed and power range of the SLM have serious issues. The SLM cannot effectively strike fast-moving targets 11km away because your experiment was a hovering target. When Rafale or typhoon moves rapidly, the missile energy will drop to Mach 1 at 11km

Radar:
- max range: 120km → 250km
- Scope Range Sets;
- Scope 4: 10km → 250km

Well they better accept it, cuz currently for single target engagement i might go as far as saying flarakrad might be a better choice at this moment when it comes to range and speed.
The only bigger benefit is the ability to engage multiple targets and intercept munitions at the same time. I was really hoping for something to engage at distances equal to pantsir at least so jets would have to take a different approach on after they spawn.
