Seems like you didn’t read the post :P

Man… Ngl thats so dope. So i wonder if theres 40km rated range IR spaa that means that we are getting AMRAAM-ER on SLAMRAAM?

So you telling that, u wont be able to pull from dam box a 12 metre long truck 2 times?

What?

Lol then why not make the radar as imaginary as the other parts of this system. Let’s start counting when they take away the ability to use the box more than once after Cas whining.

Is this feasible? How should it work on all these small maps? I imagine it would be ok for the big ones to handle 2 huge trucks, but what to do within this tiny factory etc?

Does it even work? These huge trucks? where to hide them?

At the start of the battle, players will be in control of a mobile radar vehicle. It’s advised to drive this to a hidden position to conceal it from enemy fire. Afterwards, the player can then place launchers nearby utilizing the same mechanic used for placing ammo boxes

So, you spawn as a massive 12-meter-long radar truck. Then what—do you try to hide somewhere? On Mars? And after that, you can just spawn another 12-meter truck with rockets? Or did I misunderstand something?

How should I play 2x 12m long trucks on this tiny city map? Its just one example? You will get shot by enemy tanks in no time.

Edit: Why isn’t the launcher vehicle placed off map in safety and you just have the radar truck? With 40km range there is no need for the launcher to be on the ground map.

That seems to be correct, though you don’t have to drive, you can stand still and do the same if you wish.

You can also with one key bind switch between the vehicles and control (possibly drive) either vehicle but still be in full control of all functions of both vehicles no matter which one you are controlling (driving?).

Exactly. This is beyond nonsense. Who actually thought switchable seats would be a good idea? Instead, they should just give us two separate trucks—one for radar and one for rockets—and rely on players who know how to use them properly.

But no, let’s shoot ourselves in the foot instead… lol. This isn’t going to end well for them.

So, this opens the possibility of adding more, bettet cas ordnace. Sweet :))

This is beyond madness. This isn’t going to end well for WT. Added a top tier vehicle which will be seen from mars.

How is this bad? i don’t think they say the launchers are static, i think you can still drive them as well after they are spawned.

makes sense since in the trailer they appeared to be following the original vehicle

@WreckingAres283 So i could also suggest the Faun L900 with Kommandogerät 40, to work with the in game 8,8 cm Flak 37 Sfl. for it to have a lead marker as well as automatic shell timing? (As well as the VFW 8,8 cm Flak 41 L/71.)

Might be wrong but aren’t these relatively good spots? All things considered.

You should play Air in the Air gamemode. Ground is for Ground vehicles, planes are only a secondary support. SPAA should dominate Planes in Ground.

Sure, but then the SPAA can cost 1000 SP and the planes can cost 70

This is beyond madness. Where’s the realism—are we just pulling Kinder Surprises out of a box now? Why not simply add two separate vehicles and fix matchmaking so that, for example, if you’re in a rocket system, you get matched with someone in a radar vehicle? That would actually encourage teamwork and make the game more strategic.

But instead, they let people pull a random surprise out of a box. What’s next? Drop a crate and get a Bismarck?

The War Thunder dev team keeps making worse and worse decisions. Since their competitor has been struggling with pay-to-win issues and more players are coming to War Thunder, you’d think they would avoid making the same mistakes. But instead, they’re doing exactly what caused the competitor to lose players in the first place.
