it will be nice to see iran tech tree imagine having f14 with hawk missiles and you can also have mig 29 also that karrar is like a Black Spider in Spider Man Movies xD and if u want use heli you can use a heli with maverick !!

do you know what 125mm APFSDS Iran use? do they have some of the better rounds, like 3BM59/60?

@leroyonly Can you pass this tree onto the devs for consideration? Or at least some of the unique vehicles for a sub-tree? If Hungary is able to have a sub-tree, than Iran definitely has enough armor and drones that could be in the game :).

It does says that it is a quick react tank but the name is actually toosan (toosan quick react tank) and apparently it can use Toofan 5 ATGM

Iranian short range defence system “azarakhsh”
this system has a 10 to 12 km engagement range and it is capable of carrying 4 missiles. these missiles are also equiped with IRCCM and smokeless fuel. this system is mounted on a TURKAR ASTEVO SX4. the radar that is paired with this system has a detection range of 50km and it also has the ability to use optics to detect its targets at 25km range.

Nice info m8, another great SPAA to be added to the Iranian AA rosters.
This seems like an upgrade over the Majid (i.e. a light SAM on a small platform), while having equal firing and detection range as the Herz 9.
I think it would probably sat at around the same BR at the Dezful as a some sort of sidegrade, as it has smaller, short-ranged but much more agile missile compared to it, while having slightly less detection range (using its built-in rader).

TBH, the reason why I prefer the Rakhsh over the Sedad is that the former is a domestic platform, wheas the latter is based on the BTR-60. So I Initially chose not to include it for reduandancy.
Though, given that it has some difference over the Rakhsh (namely remote-controlled turret rather than a manually-manned platform), I think this might be able to fit LT the gap beneath the Heidah 7.

I can get your sentiment especially since the Afghans did a similar modification to their BTR’s though they mainly did it to their BTR-80’s instead of BTR-60’s if i recall correctly
Still it can be added either in the LT line, a squadron vehicle or an event vehicle

Here’s more info and imagery about the Azarakhsh SAM I could find.
The Azarakhsh SAM seems to be a further development from the Majid SAM system, as it is said to be “compatible with all types of vehicle” by the Iranian MoD. The aforementioned Majid system was tested on a commercial truck some time around 2021, so we might get to see the Azarakhsh system on other vehicles, especially the Aras LUV. Like the Majid, the Azarakhsh SAM carries the missile with the same name, which use thermal seeker like its predecessor.
Because of the larger size, I assumed that this is the reason why they chose a larger (but still relatively small) platform for the Azarakhsh system. The main bulk of the Azarakhsh system consists of a remote operated weapon system than traverse at least more than 90 degrees in both directions. The vehicle has its own optical and radar system with a detection range up to 25 km, and has a crew of two (driver, missile operator) like the Maijid.
Like the Majid, the Azarakhsh’s main role is to counter UAV and drones, and as a mobile SAM system that can be quickly deployed against enemy threats.
