Sorry i forgot to write the name: Cobra BMT-2

Alright. Sorry for taking a day off for this long without updating the suggestion. So here’s the revised version of the tech tree with BR readjusted per recent changes.

Since now we have a medium-range SAM in the game, I think the Sevom Khordad in its original config is now viable inclusion into the tree, so I’ve added it after Dey 9. I’ve also moved K116 out of the researchable line because it is quite redundant in terms of performance compared to the KM414.

There is also new vehicles being added into the suggestion. Admittedly, this also includes a bit of copy-paste (all were the “base” variant of the vehicle already present in the suggestion) as an alternative options, though I make sure that it would be foldered after the unique/semi-unique vehicles so that it is an optional choice.

New vehicles
Soleiman 402

A major modernization of the M60 tank unveiled this year. The Soleiman 402 features sets of composite and reactive armor on the turret and the hull, as well as improved electronic and active protection system.

Azarakhsh SAM

Spoiler

A short range SAM system developed from the same concept as the Majid system. Based on a small truck chassis, the Azarakhsh features radar with up to 25 km of range and a new missile with the same name.

Truck-based Rapier SAM

Admittedly, this is a psuedo-copy paste of the Rapier system already found in the British tree, but this time is based on a truck chassis. I’ve included this to fill the 9.7 gap after moving the Soheil down a BR.

ZPU-4 has four 14.5 mm guns

Ah damn, my bad.

So it would be impossible to balance. I guess I will remove this thing from the suggestion then.

Since there are now possibility for multi-vehicle SAM system, I’ve digged into recent Iranian news a bit and found yet another short range SAM system debuted this year.

image

This one is the Qaem 118, a short-range SAM system based on the Aras 3 utility truck. Unlike the previous Majid or Azarakhsh system, the Qaem 118 consists of one radar control vehicle and several launcher vehicles.

The system carries the namesake missile system with the same 25 km range as the Azarakhsh system. Though this one features three guidance systems; radar, electro-optical, and thermal. This means the launcher can operate on its own similar to the “Maddog” system found on the recently revealed Tan-SAM system from the Japanese tree.

Not much other info about the system is known, however, as it was revealed relatively recently on the 19th Great Prophet exercise. So it’s best assumed that it’s still in testing phase.

this is a brazilian light tank

No! This is an iranian tank

what type of ERA does the karrar use looks very different from the typical relikt panels on the front

The Karrar uses a domestically developed era named “Reactive Armor Type 2” (wich is pretty similar to Russiaian Kontakt-5)

I dont know about the Shir 2 being a premium… it should be a TT vehicle since UK has it as an event vehicle already

The ultimate rat tank x)

Sadly, it can’t come to a hypothetical Iranian tree at all, there is a President for vehicles added to previous trees as event vehicles being unable to be added elsewhere. Best example is the US event merkavas, where the exact variants represented there have been denied by smin as being allowed to be in the Israeli tree. Same would go for the Shir 2 now. Can’t be researchable, squadron, pack/ge premium, or an event vehicle. It’s a dumb rule, but it still stands.

Maybe Gaijin will understand that some of their rules are just too stupids and finally progress (im delusional)

I meannn if Gaijin really wants to add infantry (and it was not just an April joke) the Cobra would be a great addition :)

I think that each one of the pictures would be an insane loading screen xD
