Technically, Thai is mote connected with chinese military production than with japanese, so it can be considered as that. Thai as jap subtree is as much ridiculous if you ask me.
I mean, look at the Benelux sub-tree it’s almost all copy-paste.
Then look at the Hungarian tree. It starts off unique but then quickly becomes copy-paste. There’s also several unique vehicles sold as premiums, I’d have preferred the opposite and sell the copy-paste as premiums.
The only good sub-tree is the South African one. Pretty much all unique vehicles.

I would absolutely understand those concerns before thailand was officialy added as subtree. But its already in game, Its likely not going to change, whats done is done, so theres no reason to fret over it and most importantly, block thai vehicles to thai subtree.

I agree with this statement. In fact, many in the chinese community also say that BVVD is trying to use the discounts to brush things under the carpet (after all, this sale started two days before this response). However, there’s nothing inherently wrong with the discounts themselves, since Oct 1st is China’s National Day. It’s perfectly normal for Chinese distributors to run promotions to attract purchases of Chinese premium vehicle.

And what I want to say is, to all Western friends, please stop focusing on the Singaporean tech tree that ‘might’ , ‘maybe’, ‘perhaps’ , or ‘has chance to’ of being added. The real issues should be the lack of action in the Issue Reporting Zone, where approved vehicle bug reports remain unresolved for weeks, months, or even a year; the lightning-fast closure of reports as “ntb” (the fastest I’ve seen was just minutes); and the controversy around adding the Thai tech tree. Frankly, I don’t think Chinese players care much about which nation gets the VT-4, but introducing it at such a poorly chosen timing is clearly problematic. Had it been added in the next update, the one after, or even the June update, it wouldn’t have caused such a backlash. These are what truly require a response from Gaijin.
