Then what they need to do is take their time to add these vehicles, instead of trying to “here’s your new high/top tier jet/tank that we’ll copy paste to 5 other trees and bring downgraded premium versions (cough cough F-18)” they just rushed way too much specially ever since the F-16, they jumped straight from F-16ADF to Block 50 instead of adding a Block 30 before that, then we had a repeat of that with them adding the Rafale and Typhoon before even the oldest F-18s, despite having denied the addition of the Eurofighter earlier that same year, it’s honestly even better for them to take longer and slow down business wise as that would secure long term profits and longevity for the game. But man… what a waste

exactly. They try to make 4 big patches a year but do copy-paste machines like crazy just to make it look like every nation got something. Thats ridiculous.
Gaijin’s decision to add Chinese vehicles to the Japanese technology tree at a sensitive time was a complete mistake, and the players you mentioned only expressed their opinions and responses to it, although this is a bit extreme. I believe the main mistake lies with Gaijin rather than any other player.

There are however many nations that have vehicles in service (or in production) that many players would find interesting, but these nations don’t have enough options to form a cohesive independent research tree with no gaps across the eras. As a result, when adding these kinds of nations to the game, the best option for gameplay and progression is to add them to an existing research tree.
That would be a great point if nowadays 95% of the sub-trees weren’t copy-paste indead of, yk, the “vehicles in service that many players would find interesting”.
Some numbers :
South african subtree :
18 tanks, 1 copy-paste (first sub-tree, a very good one)
Hungarian subtree :
Air : 8 planes, 8 copy-paste
Ground : 10 tanks, 5 copy paste (with 2A7HU)
Finnish subtree :
Air : 17 planes, 10 copy-paste
Ground : 23 tanks, 14 copy-paste
BeNeLux subtree :
Air : 15 planes, 12 copy-paste
Ground : 7 (completely unnecesssary) tanks, 7 copy-paste
Thai subtree :
Air : 13 planes, 11 copy-paste
Ground : 4 tanks, 2 copy-paste (Stingray gets a pass)
Keep in mind that I’ve counted premium and event vehicles, and I’ve not counted as “copy-paste” vehicles with a bit of uniqueness like F-16A OCU that gets Magic 2 or Alpha Jet TH with missiles

I do not find they added it at a sensitive time I think personally it was good timing.
Skipping over the point that a lot of these vocal players don’t care about their own nations vehicles, never play them. How would they know if they’re bad themselves without trying?
They just spam whatevercomes out of their mind to defend it.

Yeah I’m not against copy paste, but the main issue is that for gaijin adding Singapore because it’s easier to add copy paste to fix problems, it doesn’t work, plus neither Chinese or Singaporeans want that, it’s distasteful for both and China is better off getting their own unique options because those do exist, it’s not the case for nations like Japan or Israel for example where they don’t have enough domestic designs to compete with bigger trees, in this specific case, Singapore would be better off in Japan as it would fill its gaps almost perfectly, of course added with Singapore’s unique designs as well.

Its a good thing, thy WHY NOT ADD just that techs that are UNIQUE and or INTERESTING to that subtree? I mean who needs the finnish Chariotter or the BTR-80 in italy? YOu did a GREAT subtree with british and then started doing copy-paste (it is visible even on ground trees, plane subtrees are FULLY copy+paste with several exceptionns)
Adding Thailand VT4 in the last or next update will be better than adding it this time
