Absolutely not, we seen what happened almost a year ago in the leak that mentioned this already. And the fact it’s still on the table is terrible. Why not fully flesh out Pakistan or even North Korea given their ties to China.
It seems like the only reason you have for it is “Singapore is close to China therefor it shall go to China”.
Also where was the response when we had similar issues regarding sub trees like India? (Not India entirely but the fact that the only TT Indian vehicles are Russian C&P and not Indian indigenous designs or modifications of UK vehicles.)

This is absurd. China has so many domestic vehicles that could be added, and even some ingame that are missing features. Q-5L missing its Air-to-air capabilities. spall liners missing off MBTs, The implementation of the VT5 when it launched. The tree is also messed up due to the Taiwan/China vehicles being mashed together rather then structured trees.
If you really need a subtree for china, Pakistan is a great substitute since they share alot of vehicles, and even have a few NATO ones if you want to go the C+P route.
J-15, J16, J10B/C/S. JL-9, JL-8, JL-10. J16D for EW, even SU-27UBK. J-20, J-35, J-50 and all their upcoming 5th/6th Generational fighters to be added way in the future.
China doesnt need any subtree now that war thunder has entered the early 2000s era toptier.
