not to be that guy but adding fps to war thunder will kinda make it go from vehicle exlusive game to “arma reforger but expensive & grindy”,it will lowkey kill the soul of the game,not to mention how most players from fps games will find the grind mechanic and pay to progress so tedious and wont actually consider this worth their time…

It will definitely be a separate game mode (or game let’s face it), I hope Gaijin can distance infantry from the main game as much as possible, or at least connect them via an “in-universe lore”. I can imagine you can grind modules and gain points from either game mode, kinda like EFT Arena is to Tarkov.
Helicopter grind won’t be as bad now if they let us bring our unlocked vehicles to the infantry game mode 😁

i would love if its a seperate game with its seperate team,i mean look at war thunder right now they’re disregarding most of their players requests,you could see it in last dev q&a,adding more unwanted content to the game would make them scatter their focus on multiple parts of the game instead of fixing everything at once,we’ve had capture the point for 10 years,plus i dont want war thunder to shift from vehicle realistic game to squad or arma clone when millions of people wasted their money on VEHICLES and not hoomans with ar’s and drones…i really hope its a seperate game
it should be seperate GAME not GAMEMODE i dont want the game to go from 130gigs to 160 gigs for something i wont play idc
