I saw someone post on the reddit like a few hours ago this might be due to the fact that the EU is updating it’s ratings. I haven’t double checked it, but what he was saying is that because it includes gambling, Warthunder will automatically be raised to M for Mature for the EU. Maybe this is the reason why they’re finally giving it a go?
Don’t worry, if its real it will no doubt be in a separate mode. the current maps in the game do not accommodate infantry in any way, for example building interiors, so an infantry mode would require more detailed, larger scale maps like the one featured in the trailer.

That map is definitely a new one, right? I didn’t recognize anything in it. Even all the assets seemed new. It looks more in line with their modern style of map creation to me, like the new updated maps.
Basically everything in the trailer is new, aside from the vehicles and some assets.

An insane amount of money for models effects, the map, all the characters, etc for a 3 minute long video that’s just advertising a joke. I am kinda worried tho since nobody has confirmed or denied anything yet.
Usually the April Fools events are much longer than one week… I think there may be a second stage next week that contains the modern infantry and FPS mechanics featured in the trailer

bro if their gona add subtrees its probbably gona be whole copy paste lines with 1 or 2 unique vehicles plus techtrees are getting so massive that you cant just play a smaller one to ease out the grind for top tier
