It’s a shame that Gaijin has the ability to make great looking and immersive war torn maps, but they chose not to, instead we got whatever “Attica” is. Still, I’m excited for this, it looks awesome!

Unironically this, hahah.
Squad is cool, but still unrealistic armors, HP bars, and way too much Voice Chat reliance, server browser-dependant, and slow paced gameplay and too long matches for me.
If Gaijin made a BF/Squad competitor game featuring War Thunder vehicle models AND infantry, it would become my second go-game after War Thunder.
It would be basically be Battlefield, with similar gameplay pacing and style, except infinitely superior physics and authentic damage models.
It would be the true middle ground between ArmA and Battlefield (Squad is too close to ArmA in the spectrum), just like War Thunder is the middle ground between DCS/SB and WoWp/WoT.
That way, Gaijin would completely dominate the entire target audience market of “not too arcade, but not too dim either”. Land, air, see, and foot- everything. Can you imagine?
Hey! It wouldn’t be the first time Gaijin turns an April Fools into a mode or a videogame, so… I’ll have my hopes up!
