Sorry but I am not a fan of infantry, it is one thing to get ride of tank models and planes, but infantry is a bit like battlefield and counter strike.
When will this be added?
Probably next year if i had to guess. (Maybe)
We’ve had 2 test’s of infantry iirc.
1 for player controlled (When they could jump around everywhere. forgot the event.) and one for a.i. WW1 Event.
Unless we count enlisted with it’s multitude of matches, Might be one of the “minor” major updates this year.

With that I am starting to think there could be something interesting with IFVs where they can carry infantry who are sort of ‘escorted’ to capture points and stuff. Could be quite fun.

Like Imagine the waiting times for an infantry mode (looking at current enlisted and naval, Heli pve)
Maybe they dont need to rework the entire map just changing the assets in the map itself
But given we have Winter maps shows even extensive map reworks are possible

march 31st? its extremely close to the 1 of April, maybe the japanase intern sent it at 00:01 on April the first(which given time zones would mean march 31 everywhere else) . even if there are leaks and even some logic behind it not being April fools
usually you have an April fools game mode combined with the announcement(the only thing we got was the ww1 event which is nowhere close what the infantry thing showed, which was modern day and first person)

How many gigabite will it be? A complete new tech tree of different variaty of soldiers and there gears and all other stuffs and houses around the city have to be moduled as well so the soldiers can get in… another 70gb??
