I hope the WW1 vehicles are to be permanent. The infantry definitely should be just a test. Chances are it will be awfully buggy during the test so it would give Gaijin time to refine them to then add later on.

I mean, as far as we know the event could not have any WW1 content whatsoever. We have a trailer showing modern day stuff and the trailer usually was the thing that “teased” the event gameplay.
The announcement talking about WW1 content could mean that either the announcement, the trailer or neither of them are red herrings (wouldn’t be the first time they hosted two april fools modes)
It could be that 1 is a genuine addition and the other will be a temporary event
Well, we will have to see, but I don’t think either of these possible events are going to be genuine additions. At least not yet.

I don’t think so. I think “minor update” might be a first though. Not entirely sure but it’s actually quite exciting to see.

They do lots of things on April 1… some of them even prototypes or testing of possible future features.
