Indian Mig29 to UK tree and Rafale

What’s the difference between “light tank” and “IFV” within the context of top tier?

Does the US lack a top tier light tank because they only have the HSTVL?

And Britain operates the boxer. Both could be 11.0 with their FnF Javelins.

But does India have a Light tank that would be top tier?

Last I heard they might have a 105mm gun thing that would be 9.7/10.0 without it’s ATGM and maybe 10.3 with

IFVs that usually have auto cannons and rely on the ATGMs in order to do things frontally to most tanks? Then you got hstvl, centuaro,cv90120 with main guns?

The hstvl is somewhat capable and isn’t more so do to gaijin purposely gimping the rounds, XM8 should have been a side grade in the main tree and given m900

Autocannon/ATGM IFVs in current top tier(I’m talking 12.0) aren’t very great or competitive.

The current boxer mgs would be as good as it gets. Don’t know about India

Current South Africa with a more accurate rookiat MTTD with the domestic round would be top tier most top tier worthy

No, but neither do India and South Africa, so i don’t see the relevance

I doubt it, unless it was a massive boostz the current ones are barely 9.7.

And I’d still take an Ajax with javelin over another rooikat

From the information I’ve seen it most likely should have better thermals based off its introduction date alone and the autoloader speed also seems off and should be closer to 5 seconds. It also would also get the m9718 which is around the same level as m900. It also had working blowout panels in game at one point in time if I recall?

Reload rates are always a balancing decision. Though the fact the Britain had a reload advantage on the CR2 and doesnt anymore does make me question how they decide who gets what buff in that department.

If they added that it would be a “Rooikat MTTD (Late)” they wont upgrade it past 9.3.

which then takes us back to getting Ajax, Boxer or even the Canadian Designed and built LAV III.

Which would be the better options imo. Let alone others like the Warrior Verdi II.

The point is. This idea that Britain never built any vehicles and is 100% dependent on having a half dozen Sub-TTs is just laughable imo. Like people complaining about Britain not having a good fighter at top tier and then immediately complaining when you ask for the Typhoon to be buffed up to IRL levels.

But sticking with ground

  • Fix and buff the CR2s
  • Add CR3(P)
  • Add Skysabre
  • Add Ajax/Boxer and maybe LAVIII

and we’d have a perfectly competitive top tier line up without the need of a single indian or south african vehicle.

LAV III can easily be replaced by the Badger. And it would be better since there’s a version with ZT3.

Does that matter? This is WarThunder it’s the vehicles that matter

As funny as it’d be to see the UK players who constantly whine about the Rafale being too strong pivot immediately to complaining that their Rafale is nerfed compared to the French one, the UK doesn’t need (or deserve) Indian aircraft at top tier.

Su-30MKI and Rafale should not be appearing outside their manufacturer’s tech tree. Yes, even if the Su-30MKI has different missiles and better performance. If it has to appear (it doesn’t), then it can be limited to Russian missiles that we know India has.

Nah, it would be funnier watching the French Mains question why the Rafale suddenly starts getting back to back nerfs as they experience the full force of Britain tax.

French tech has already been subjected to many many nerfs and unfair BR changes, nerfs without reason or decent sources aren’t new to French tree players lmao

Pretty sure indian Rafale would be better than current french rafale, would get newer IRST of F4 standard. Not sure about anything else. Oh, and it actually has the 8 mica loadout in service unlike the french one.

why not just do it israel style

whoever played Uk, Russia or France gets to access India at higher BRs

That way India is its own tree, but playing all the above mentionned aircraft is still a possibility
