While I do agree that stuff like the Strela and Tan Sam are currently quite overpowered for the BR they are at, taking a CAS plane should not be a braindead way to get some easy kills. You should have to play with some wit at the very least.

Yea, whenever an SPAA shows up, CAS simply ceases to exist, they’re that strong.

I look at it this way. The Strela and Tan Sam aren’t OP, they’re the level of effectiveness we should be expecting of all SPAAs. Especially the higher tiered ones, which are generally just food for decent CAS players.
A Gepard (or equivalent) stands no chance against a plane with SACLOS missiles, or a heli with ATGMs. Anything armed with a Stinger or Mistral stands no chance against a plane that can pull slightly, or a heli with longer ranged ATGMs. Almost all SACLOS missile SPAAs no longer stand a chance against top tier aircraft after the missile handling nerfs.
SPAA is supposed to counter CAS, and instead they’re just another victim. It’s a large part of why CAS is so hated at top tier in particular, there’s barely anything that can keep them in check (The other half being how many kills they can get with basically no relevant skill).

Btw: I think that the spawn cost for SPAA is just fine.

I think we should remove SPAA and SAM costs entirely, and make it so when you spawn one you also get an additional 11 AI vehicles that spawn in as part of your AA battery that are all as effective as AAA.

Well i do agreed with this since it too cheap i mean look at ADATS how expensive they are it unfair sometime that Russian can spawn pantsir after they die for like 100 points but ADATS it like around. 200

Except you cant counter Strela or Type-81 in situation.
Both systems are ridiciously overpowered in their current system, not to mention Strela missiles doesnt even have IRCM capability yet it performs much better then most missiles with IRCM capabilites alongside with better G-overload capacity.
Both systems should get br raise,especially Strela considering Ozelot, one of the most pathetic Sam system sits that at 9.7 while Strela sits at 9.3.
Cause ADATS is actually a system that can engage with both Air and Ground units.
There is a reason why its identified as a TD.
