+1 as long as we get similar planes in other tech trees. I think it is pretty cool seeing airliners with military service use. I was just reading a suggestion in the Poseidon MRA 1, it is a Boeing 737 turned sub hunter, it gives me similar vibes to this one.

I’d love to see something like this added in a battlepass.
Could also be nice to open the rear cargo door to drop ordinance.
I believe planes like the C-130 and Globe Master are also capable of doing this.

+1, would love to get this and similar aircraft in-game. Obviously they would be pretty bad to play but would be fun and cool nonetheless.
At the same time we could get the C-130 with GBU-43 MOAB (or just the AC-130 with all it’s weapons), the C-17 which has conducted trials with dropping JDAM bombs.
There’s also plans in development in France to turn the A400M into a gunship like the AC-130.
Honestly when I get the time I might look into making suggestions for the C-17 and A400M.

god, 4 fab 500s are barely enough to destroy a base at like 4.0, unless this plane gets added at 4.0 it would be more than useless
don’t see it being of any use unless its like around 7.0

Seeing it’s armament and top speed, I’d see 7.0 - 7.7 being a fair br.
You can’t put a Cold War 80s jet with early Cold War/WW2 planes. Would look silly.

Regardless, I believe it should at least face fighters equipped with early infrared missiles, to make full and proper use of its countermeasures. I see no reason why it couldn’t be enjoyable to play at those BRs.

I think this plane should be added as long as it gets all of its jamming + chaff and flares as that would make low tier air to air missiles worthless forcing a gun run.
Also if the snail where to bless this improvised bomber with some cargo bay door parachute payloads I am sure people will kindly air drop your Amazon delivery right onto your cap your trying to capture.
The overall plane is balanced going into the game and I am sure some people will include it into there line ups and depending on the munitions Gaijin blesses it with it may just work in naval.

It could be interesting to see it included in a potential infantry DLC. Dropping BMDs and VDV as a spawn point.

That would be OP or AA food depending on the enemy team. But this could be a cool plane to see because of all the load outs in theory this bomber can use. Just think of all the sea mines you can push out the back.

Yeah C-130’s (specifically MC-130J’s) are capable of dropping various JDAM bombs and deploy AGM-158 JASSM cruise missiles in the form of palletized munitions. A live fire test of the Rapid Dragon system has already taken place and was considered a success.
The same system is also being developed for the C-17 too which has conducted dummy drops of JASSM and JDAM already.
Not to mention MC-130’s already can drop the GBU-43/B MOAB.
There is also the KC-130J Harvest Hawk program which adds AN/AAQ-30 TGP, 4 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and 10 AGM-176 Griffon missiles launched from the rear ramp.
