So we all know the F-16 has the ability to carry the GBU-38/54 on the BRU-57,
but what if we were able to customize our loadouts more realistically, like being able to carry just 1 GBU-38/54 on a bomb pylon, or just having empty missile pylons just for roleplay that some of us do. (Yes i know this is a PvPvE combat game) but we can make it more realistic by being more like the best combat game made. DCS. They let you customize your weapons freely, have open pylons, anything. What if warthunder allowed us to do this?
It would just be cool to see this be added. And please add AIM-120C-5 to the F-16CM Block 50.

Bruh just get the PoBIT and get both C-5 & D. C-5 would just push the normal CM to 14.0 when it’s not needed

Not anymore tbh, considering the Israeli (Sufa I believe?) F-16 with 120C-5s went down to 13.7.
You’re still better off with 120A/Bs
I don’t think it will, SUFA is at 13.7 with 120C-5, but i agree with your point to just get PoBIT

I guess, but looking at the US tree alone, there’s only one 13.7 F-16. Jumping from the ~13.3 F-16 ADF to the 14.0 F-16CM with C-5s wouldn’t make much sense, since it would leave a gap at 13.7 that the current F-16CM already fills nicely without needing the C-5s.

Can i not want atleast something other than what we’ve had for 3 years? I dont want just AIM-120A’s on F-16’s i want the 120C’s. Seems like you dont understand and your an AIM-120A/B fanboy
I have the Block 52 lol, and actually the F-16I at 13.7 has AIM-120C-5 so, theoretically the Block 50 should get it
I simply don’t see the point in asking for a worse missile, which you then have to research…
The AIM-120C-5 is objectively worse than the A/B in every relevant metric
It wouldnt push it anywhere, the 13.7 sufa has AIM-120C-5 and is perfectly fine
Literally can’t, though. USA is not Israel funnily enough, where they can have multiple F-16C-esque jets. USA only has just the 1 and giving it C-5 would without a doubt bump it up a BR. It’s just a fact of giving it a “better” (in the eyes of Gaijin) missile.
So, it’s long overdue a BR adjustment? :P

Do you want me to prove to you that F-16CM Block 50’s carry AIM-120C irl? Even if the israelis have it, it doesnt mean the US cant.
I didn’t mean that the aircraft can’t, I meant that it can’t in the game. You can’t have C-5s on the F-16CM because it’ll go up in BR and create a 13.7 gap that can’t be filled by anything else in the interim. There is simply 0 need for it unless Gaijin starts churning out F-16 variants, but that’s least likely to happen as content is (iirc) planned months/a year ahead.
