We all have those vehicles we want to see in War Thunder, however, not all of them can be added for some reason or another, they just dont fit into the game. Today I present a solution: Iconic vehicals
How would this work?
Well throughout history, there have been many iconic vehicles, from the Willys MB to the humble C-47. There are many vehicles that just wouldn’t have a place in game but would be a blast to play around with in custom battles or be used for cinematic uses.
Well, here’s how my idea to introduce these to the game would work:
The vehicles would all be available to “research” by allocating however much free RP you want into a new tech tree that’s separate from all the regular trees. This new tree would feature all kinds of iconic vehicles from all manner of time periods that otherwise would have absolutely no way to be added to the game
You may ask “if they are useless then why add them to the game when they cant contribute to matches?” well heres the thing: they cant be used in random battles, they would have nothing to research on them and would only be availible to use when playing in a custom battle. they would also only be able to be used in lineups for the nation that operated them.
All vehicles would be unarmed or armed with very low caliber weaponry (sub 12.7mm)
