(If added) what line do you guys think it will be added to ?
I think it would come after the Gripen. And then they folder the two Tornadoes and move the FGR.4 after the F.3 folder.
Astra Mk.3 is now being tested on the MKI by the looks of it
Absolutely not. Everything that makes it special and different from a regular Su-30 is either Israeli (like, 75%) or French (~25%). It should be in the Israeli TT (and YES, I know Gaijin declared Indian vehicles go to UK, but they also said once that they will never add top-tier premiums, so everything can change).
That’s an opinion 😭
I guess the British missiles and… Other stuff doesn’t count.
I think I might be fine with the addition of Su-30MKI itself
(In the short term, +1. I am not opposing this idea)
But also, I prefer a bit more domestic unique plane.
So… adding Su-30MKI, but will it be fine not to have it too soon?
I mean…
I want to see both SHar FRS.51 and Su-30MKI.
As long as India is our sub-TT. Why not both?
Just Shar FRS.51 needs to come out a bit faster than Su-30MKI. With higher priority.
I understand and am well aware that the majority of British, teaboo, or Soviets in this forum disagree with the Su-30MKI idea. :|
Because it usually can be considered as Soviet C&P.
But well! I am open-minded about both additions!
Fine to see but not in urgent level maybe?
Israeli missiles, bombs, avionics and electronics are what differ this Su-30 from others, not the very few British weapons - Israel was behind the MKI project.
Well, no. Israel is the one behind the project.
It’s a Russian Airframe and India is considered a sub tree for Britain, so if not Britain than the USSR. Israel would never be considered.
Although the Israeli tree is surely quite empty compared to other nations, and I’d be delighted to see the SU-30MKI there to see how it performs (instead of having to grind either TTs), Smin already said that India is a sub tree to Great Britain so I wouldn’t expect to see it in the Israeli tree. I must say, though, that we might be in need of some more planes as it only has 3 lines but well, it would have to be new countries with no sub trees.
Britain will need something between the endless additons of MiG 29/Su-27 and F-15s for the next 2 years
Su-30MKI fits that as does Tejas…But SU-30MKI model is already produced and easy to add.
Britain top tier additons look like this…
Typhoon FGR.4 Tranche 3
Harrier GR.9
F-35B
Thats it.
+1 a Su-30 with michaels sounds funny
