This is SFDR (Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet) test that will go in the Gandiva missile and not Astra.

Time to redeem this one Gaijin, next update👍🏻

Wouldn’t bet on next update but they might add this atsome point, now that they cleared room for more subtree content

Gandiva is astra mk3…

Technically it evolved from SFDR project which was a joint project between drdo and rosoboronexport

Well yeah, just last update Uk got a typhoon, I kinda also doubt a new rank IX is dropping for them.

Tbf the only toptier jet deserving nation would be Israel for now😅, maybe the EX for the US too.

I don’t think SFDR is a joint project between India and Russia. It is purely an Indian developed system. Do you have any references to back this claim?

not surprising tbh since Russia did already develop and test ramjet r77 back in the 90s, makes sense India would get assistance from them

Spoiler

Looks almost like the South African LRAAM developed in the late 80s to mid 90s as a next gen BVR missile, like the other American works at the time, example, the AAAM (Advanced Air-to-Air Missile)

Su-30MKI was seen using Israeli ROCKS ASM

Considering Gaijin’s response to this bug report, unfortunately, the number of DL channels for the Su-30MKI might be limited to 4.

Tbh it’s fair, n011m didn’t get upgraded to its current state until around ~2010ish

So radar is compatible with upgrades which technically means it shouldn’t be nerfed to begin with, unless Gaijin wants to make it worse than regular SM.

Give Uk its best jet

I’m fairly certain they already got their best jet aka Typhoon with CAPTOR-E.
