If they put it in the British tree it sure will be controversial since the Rafale is almost the only thing we can expect in the future for France
Tbh since they ain’t gonna add India as a nation they should just put Indian vehicles in their tree of origin: Su-30MKI in the Russian tree, Mirage 2000H/I and Rafale EH in the French tree, Sea Harrier FRS.51 LUSH in the British tree,and the Tejas perhaps in the Israeli tree or something
Feels more fair than giving all of them to Britain

What people don’t realize is that other nations vehicles, including their top ones (like Hungarian Leo 2A7 for example), has been a thing for years. This will be the same in terms of concept.
The same is gonna happen here, whether people like it or not. This already was confirmed more than enough times, possibly the most out of any of such "instances. Some people just refuse to believe or accept it, but that is an issue on their end.

I know India is a British subtree and I know copypaste is normal in subtrees. What I’m saying is imo this is really a bad thing, top tier kinda symbolizes the goal of the whole grind so giving the Rafale (aka the one awesome French top tier jet) to Britain definitely ruins it all
Also where in the world are they gonna add Indian vehicles in the British tree? There’s just no room in there and the tree already lacks British content. In the end we’ll see nothing but events and premiums… Great subtree indeed

National trees should be about unique vehicles, not copypasting vehicles from all others trees

Tbh I still think India should’ve been with Israel if we can’t get anymore trees starting at later ranks.

I know it’s basically a Rafale EH without Indian weapons but it’s still labelled as French so Gaijin might add an Indian one to Britain
True but Israel doesn’t have much room for them either… if only we had nation folders, we wouldn’t have to worry about all that

Would be really nice but alas.
True but I’d much rather the tree with 3 missing ranks, no navy and only 3 lines in aircraft get said vehicles. Also folders could help but would most likely be limited to similar playstyle or family of vehicles (unless there’s more odd ones like the whirlwind/brigand folder).
The only other option would to split the vehicles across trees but I’d rather not for multiple reasons.
All Rafales get the same amount of flares/countermeasure choices.
There’s 4 spaces where a block of CMs can go.
You have two options available to put in those 4 spaces.
One with 18 medium caliber flares and one with 8 large-caliber flares.
India still hasnt recieved meteors yet.
there is only 1 pic of indian rafale with meteor, but that was taken in france with french inert meteors.
they have meteor missiles.
