There have been multiple times already where I could spawn a nuke but chose not to do so, so I could earn more SL and RP.
First off I’ll state that I’m rather bias against nukes due to one of, if not the 1st one, I ever saw pulled was obtained by ramming me out of cover so he could kill the enemy around the corner while he was reloading from killing me (he then sadly crashed on take off), I’ve had a rather negative view of the mechanic ever since.
That said, if you are going to end the match for 31 other players, you need to run the gauntlet, you should not just be able to click the button and Alt-F4 the match. there are already too many matches that get won by a horribly losing team because 1 guy was spawn camping.
Meanwhile trying to catch the Jag in a Mig-17 or F-86… seriously, the number of times I pull a plane the second the siren goes off and don’t even make it to the battlefield before the nuke hits is idiotic, they need to make the nuke carriers better match the BRs they are at, at that means that the fighters of the lowest BRs in the match need to be able to have some chance to catch them, even if just a head on, as well are the higher BR ones getting CMs.
For me that would heavily depend on how they got the nuke
any heli’s that spams FnF missiles, hides, refills and does the same thing over and over again? F em
BMPT users? F em, for obvious reasons
Spawn killing from a BS spot? F em too
Anything that relies on actual skill is more deserving of nukes
