The match you play at is determined from the highest BR vehicle in your lineup (this is a core fundamental of War Thunder you should probably know by now)
Chat why can’t I use my Challenger at 5.3 (the BR it is meant to be played at) with my Tornado GR.1? I just want to use a high tier jet to do close air support with!!!
Seriously though, you have to take the high tier stuff out of your lineup, if you’re this new, work up from tier 1. Don’t go to IS-7 or T-72 tier.

I doubt you could sell it, article didn’t really imply that you could.
Yeah that’s right, for some reason pretty much all vehicles are being activated upon being received, or just aren’t giving out coupons at all (which is dumb).

I didn’t get the coupon. Only the tank. I couldn’t find a way to sell it.
I’ve been using the Leopard 2 tank for a good while now so I am used to that BR, just a different country.
It’s just that the IS 7 isn’t suited to a high BR so like you say I will need to remove the other higher BR stuff.
Yes you should keep IS-7 on your 8.3 BR lineup and T-72M2 on 10.3 lineup.
The bad side of winning those event vehicles is you’re going to grind all the modules…
And please just don’t try to sell those, the luck you got there is unimaginable.
I don’t have the IS-7 lol lucky you, but I do play the closest thing to IS-7 which is the T-10M, it is better in some way due to having 2 plane stabilizers so you will have no issues firing an accurate shot while on the move, but the T-10M lost everywhere else, reload speed, armor profile, reverse speed and injured crews make the reload even longer, unlike IS-7 which I believe isn’t affected by dead crews slowing down the reload. And no, based on my experience the T-10M barely handles uptiers so I think you better keep it at 8.3. The good thing is the global KDR of IS-7 is very good, if you are not half bad I would expect you to have 2-3 kills on average before death, so that would make you a bigger contributor to the team than 50% of teammates who has 2 deaths with 0 kills, so I don’t see much issues even if you bring only one vehicle to the battle.

If you haven’t grinded the Russian tree.
Just play the IS-7 alone with back-ups.

Honestly I’ve just been playing. I jump on, play, buy the next vehicle and that’s about it. I don’t mess with anything or know much about the game lol. I don’t have much interest in grinding the USSR army tree. I’ve finished the British plane tree and I’m now wanting to finish the USSR tree to get an SU-27. Just got the SU-25 and working from there but I’m finding air RB at this BR boring.
Flying something like a Spitfire requires skill. The game can last a while and you really learn how to use your plane. At BR 13, the battles are over in 5mins. There’s generally 1 way to play and if you deviate then you die. That’s my experience anyway.
I’m having more fun flying my KA-50/52 and using my T-72 Moderna. I keep forcing myself to fly my SU-25 and SU-22m3 to try to grind so I can get an SU-27.
I’m enjoying the T-72 Moderna. I wish it’s engine was better and it was faster, but I like that it has an extra 30mm BMP cannon. I don’t think I can sell them even if I wanted to though!
I wish i had this kind of problem…
All i got after 3M is a rather weak italian costal boat (Freccia P493)

That weak boat is one of hte best available… and a REALLY good result for 3 million - I spend that every 2 days so far…
I mean yeah its the best … at being destroyer food, since it doesnt meet any other costals at that BR.
It is really good cannon fodder, maybe even the best !
L2P problem for you then - why would you send it against Destroyers? I have it in a mixed lineup for when there is coastal to be fed upon.
Because its all i have, i wont play Italian destroyers because theres nothing in the Italian Blue Water tree i want. I only want the Setta P494 , since funny AShM.

Honestly i dont know. Its so hopelessly outmatched at its current matchmaking that i think it will just join the SGB Gray Goose in my Drawer of useless boats i got from crates.
Its great , when facing other costal ships, which does not happen.
Played the freccia for almost 30 games. Ive come to the conclusion that its too overtiered to be worth grinding with. 5k RP when i have good games is NOT worth fighting destroyers.
Guess ill wait like 3 years when Gaijin takes a look at naval again , maybe then something will change.
