As it is - other than the original plan getting push back, I don’t understand why Singapore, or any other nation, is being broken up in to multiple trees, outside of cases where in the early days something got added before it was fully added as it’s own tree, or as a sub tree in another nation. I know the reply from Stona on the main page that links off the launcher to a similar statement was:
It will make the option too boost smaller nation with interesting vehicles almost impossible
This makes no sense. Now I can understand it if it’s meant in the literal sense of what we used to have in UK ground with South Africa, or what certain air lines have where the line is literally just one nations vehicles - but since that has more or less been abandoned, which I’m fine with to try and fill gaps in some lines that have some huge ones - there is no reason I can see you can’t keep one sub-nation together within a singular nations category so people who want to play that specific nation don’t have to play 5 of them to do so. And where it would be nearly impossible to ‘boost smaller nations with interesting vehicles’ just because your keeping a nations stuff intact under one banner. Unless your doing what you did with the UK tree with Indian and Australian vehicles where all the interesting unique stuff are basically relegated to premiums and event vehicles but copy/paste from the US makes it in to the tree proper. As it stands - you have 10 tech trees, I know it’s going to 11 as you’ve said your adding a combined North/South Korea tree, that as is currently have vehicles representing about 50 countries (not counting ones that changed flags or the like). Of those - maybe 20 countries are not currently one offs or maybe a couple premium vehicles in one or two trees. Quick google search - of more than 190 countries on the planet, 170 of them have active militaries, no idea how many have vehicles that can fit the game though. And as is you have 6 trees with massive gaps or even short having 5th lines, and even though US, England, Germany, and Russia are more complete, even they have some gaps in them. So - if we have what will be 11 trees, representing in full 20 or so countries with representation from about another 30 give or take - and very much not all those 30 have to offer in cases, for a total of 50 out of a possible 170 or less, you can not seriously sit there and tell me, that to fill in 11 lines without breaking up a countries stuff, for the currently 6 likely 7th nations that will likely need a heavier influx of multiple nations to fill out trees as full as the other 4 - that the 30 or so already underrepresented nations, and possibly up to 120 others is not enough to have interesting vehicles to boost all of them. Math isn’t mathing on that one.
Also -
I could make sense of this if the Singapore was becoming a subtree like Greece is supposed to be (if I remember correctly from that article a while back) to add a 5th line or fill in some gaps with something different, since I’m going to trust others are right about what other vehicles Singapore has like Leopards cause I know nothing and I’m not googling it right now and I’m sure somewhere in the recesses of the forum someone has suggested anything they had or built a whole tree. However - I’ll also add to the choir on the fact Israel as much as it could use more vehicles, especially on the air side, already has 3 light tanks that have 30 mm’s and spikes, two at Rank 7, one at 8, 2 tracked one wheeled, 2 with APS - for whatever good it does never seems to work in Arcade, and in Arcade battles are all at 11.3 BR. There are 5 nations that lack a vehicle with an auto-cannon and fire and forget missile launcher in the tech tree. China - which as I recall was the original plan but turned in to a problem, Japan (not sure if there are other issues with that one being added in), England (CRV doesn’t count because Event Vehicle), US, and Russia - granted it has the BMPT’s that already eviscerate almost everything. By that criteria - any of those 5 as is is a better fit, and of those 5 Japan and Israel both are in the most need of filling out - especially depending what BR you plan to put this at - but Japan has 3 sets of light tanks, that end at 9.3 and 9.7 before 2 go on to 12.0+ with MBT’s and one just ends, Israel has the one line ending with 3 of these kinda things. By your own logic, it sounds more like it should go to if anything Japan.
