I just noticed the markings on the Héja I model are those of István Horthy’s Héja I that he flew on the Eastern Front in 1942. István Horthy was the deputy regent of the Kingdom of Hungary, and son of regent (+admiral) Miklós Horthy, the ruler of the Kingdom of Hungary from 1920-1944, basically de facto king (since Hungary didn’t actually have a king at that time). They also did this with the battle pass Hungarian Bf 109 F-4, which had Dezső Szentgyörgyi’s markings. Dezső Szentgyörgyi was the top scoring Hungarian fighter ace of the war.
love that the Héja I & II are coming. though kinda surprised both r at rank I. i think due to the Héja II having a more powerful engine and motor driven guns i think it should be a rank II.
any interest in a Hungarian cr 42? possibly at 2.0 or 2.3…
some of them had two 12.7 mm Gebauer 1940 M GKM Machine Gun that like the Héja II it was engine driven!
Dude, they already announced the USA is getting a new top tier jet, just let people in the smaller nations enjoy getting a nice thing for once
The Hungarian Bf 110 G-4 is already in-game as a GE premium.
thx. ill correct it
Pride month
I feel like they just gonna copy & paste the Breda-SAFAT ammunition.
Looks like:
- Tracer
- API (phosphorus)
- AP-T
- Incendiary (or technically API as well)
- Explosive with fuze
- Explosive w/o fuze
- Ball
Whats the song though.
Literally the best dog fighting beat I’ve ever heard.
Tell gaijin to drop their album already, I’ll pay pay for it.
Always nice to get more domestic WW2 vehicles, even if they are just modifications of existing ones. Beats outright copy+pasted cold war US SPGs any day of the week.

This is AMAZING. I want all the unique Hungarian stuff.
I also want all the Unique Romanian stuff. Still some options on the table there. (Love my IAR-81C)
Romanian subtree when? Their cold war stuff will be awesome.
NOT a complaint. I love this all day long. It just makes me hopeful for more unique and cool stuff in the future.
Not a Japan player (Just a hundred matches or so) Regardless I, too, am so glad to see this.
lol
For real, stuff like the Gepard with Soviet MANPADS and the MLVM IFV based off the SU-76’s hull design which in turn is based on the T-70 light tank are truly underrated examples of Romanian domestic capabilities.
It almost makes me sad to know that they would have to compete with Hungary for space in the Italian tree.
The silence about Romania is frustrating, they still haven’t called it “subtree” officially. We only know that “it’s placed in the Italian TT” from @Smin1080p_WT answers.
I guess if they had any serious plans on Romanian representation as a subtree we would’ve already known it. I mean look at India for example, it’s basically in the same boat as Romania with most of premium/events, but it gets called “subtree” without any issues.
kinda makes sense since the guns on the Heja II were adapted to use Italian rounds.
The ammo was interchangeable but why wouldn’t Hungarian guns fire Hungarian ammunition?
On the other hand, the differences in ammunition is pretty small and would practically make no difference in the game.
Italy gets API-T, Hungary only gets AP-T. The other types are basically the same for how they are implemented.
Wait ur that guy who did the M1A1 interview right? I read that last month, and seriously! Good job!
Thanks so much!
At least you guys have a sort of placement, we only got a “Poland is not a sub tree to Germany”
I’m neither Romanian, Hungarian or Italian.
Regarding Poland I think you wouldn’t be that happy to have it as a German subtree, as its TTs barelly have any space for non-German vehicles. It’s already sad for Switzerland since probably most of their vehicles either won’t come or will be premium/events.
