Is there any way to properly fire the AIM-7 at the enemy? Because sometimes they can crash to the ground for no reason, even when I shot them from a great height.

I know that, but the bullet can still hit the ground sometimes
That happens with all missiles, it’s just lag and server issues that cause them to stutter and go dead. There’s no way to avoid it.

It is multipathing effect. If your enemy flies closer than 60m to the ground the missile will hit the deck and there is nothing you can do about it.

As already stated, it is multipath. This can be helped by firing at high angles above the target. However, it still wont be a sure shot.
It also depends on the radar. The f4s will be more affected by multipath than something like an f16.
Im assuming you are talking about this and not something where the lock is lost for a second.

No. No missile has this ability. They follow the predicted path of the target. If something is in that path, they hit it.

I have only really played the f16s and f14s. Both are pretty good. It would depend on how you want to play.
F14 is better for long range and support. F16 is better at dogfights and ground pounding, if you want to use it in ground rb.
I prefer to play more calmly than dogflight. As if for a medium distance
I would probably go for the f14. It will put you more into the supoorting role which is medium-long range

Actually, you’re right. Although at the beginning this line discouraged me a bit because to research the F-14B line you need a lot of research points. Literally, this line has the 2nd place (after bombers) in the largest number of research points in the American tree
Is there any way to detect AIM-54 Phoenix flying from an F-14 at all, because the RWR cannot see them completely?
If your RWR can’t detect them for whatever reason, you’ll need to visually spot them, the missile trails are fairly easy to see.
