Nice! l’ll check out your replay
Cool replay. l never seem to get my mission as high as yours is even while spending the whole match bombing. Should l buy a premium jet to grind the USA tech tree? Maybe like the F4 Phantom or something. l’m only at rank 3 for USA.
No! Before spending that amount on single plane, spend less in May on a year or 6 months of premium time on sale. That will turn all your planes into premiums. There is no single better investment than this at 3$ a month.
Problem is that even with premium l’m still trash. lnstead of getting 100-500 rp per match l’ll get 200-1000. Same goes for SL. l’m so bad at the game, l honestly don’t think that anyone understand how bad l really am. Just watch any of my replays and you’ll see. l do appreciate the help though, but truly think that l’m a hopeless cause. l feel as though a premium plane would give me a slight advantage, but l get what your saying. So if l were to get a premium account what exacty are the benefits of that and when does that usually come on sale?
No, not top tier jet. You are just a pinata there. The rank 2 Mörko Morane is fun though.
The best investment is a premium account. It turns every one of your vehicles basically in a premium earner, doubles RP and adds 50% to SL.
Generally, if you feel bad at the game, stay at rank 2 until you feel an improvement. Play arcade and realistic and see where you can improve. Grow your crews in arcade, only advance when you have reached the levels for the next tier. IT TAKES TIME.
Alright. l’ll consider getting a premium account when they come on sale. Any idea on how much time? l’ve been playing for around 2 years and have 600+ hours and have seen no real improvement. How long does it usually take to see an improvement and become a good player. Also any idea of how much time before top tier, or at least close to?
Premium will likely be on sale during victory in europe day celebrations. 180 days for 20$€ or one year for 7500 GE.
After playing lower tiers for 1 year, I could hold my ground ok. That was around 8000 missions. I still don’t like to play top tier, I stay below BR 12.0. There is no fun up there for me, only chaos.
Oh wow. Your skill issue is terminal. Do you realize just how much input lag game streaming services introduce? You are basically playing a turn based game when everyone else is playing in real time. It may not look like it to you, but every single moment you waste on having your inputs travel to the server and back counts.

I’ll watch one of your replays.
Edit: Looked at two of your replays.

You’re bombing, okay. This kind of playstyle is at the mercy of the outcome of the battle, so if your team gets steamrolled, you also get steamrolled, and you have no control over that. But that’s whatever.
When you approached the Su-7 at 8:40, what was your plan? What did you expect would happen, when you just did a continuous turn and nothing else? Did you consider what his and your plane can do?
You have a delta wing. You bleed speed in turns very easily. He has a rocket ship, generating a ton of energy. If you two just turn, you will fall out of the sky, becoming easy prey.
You only turned in one direction when he was pointing his guns at you. Did you hope he would just miss? Why do that when you can force him to miss? Think of the lead he needs to take, and then look at his plane. If you see that he’s lining up perfectly for his lead, get out of that location, by rolling out of the flight path, and flying in another direction. He then would need to readjust his aim, all the while making it closer to an overshoot, since he’s much faster than you.
I would suggest using the US F-84F for base bombing, as the speed, spawn location, and CCRP make it easy to guarantee a base most of the time.
If you want kills with the A4E, you will need to learn how to do energy fighting, and how to do reversals. This also includes better control of your aircraft, like gentle turning to conserve energy.
You did not look around enough. People can come from above.

What did you expect to do when you started following the SO 4050 at 2:42? He came out of a dive, and you’re still in a climb. Following him would get you absolutely nothing. You’re just disrupting your own climb. Don’t just hope that he will fly into your guns, that’s out of your control.
Same situation with the IAR at 3:55. All you would achieve is making yourself vulnerable to an enemy you’re unaware of, by being very slow. Minimize the time you’re spending being slow when not needed (= when it will achieve nothing of use).
At 4:17, there are several teammates on a Mig-15.
Imagine there are 2 players on an enemy team, and 2 players on yours (yourself included). If 2 from your team attack 1 on theirs, that means 1 of theirs is free to come in from behind and kill both of you while you’re both unaware. Instead of dogpiling, the person further away should rebuild energy by going into a climb. Help when your teammate actually NEEDS help (he’s about to get shot). The Vampire shines in these kinds of situations, where someone is baiting for you.
At 4:42, you need way more lead. You’re flying at high speed, either get closer first, or take much more lead. When you think you have enough, lead a bit more. A good place to start with is the space between the reticle and your own plane, when you’re both turning.
You need to know which planes carry missiles, so you don’t just fly straight for them like at 7:41.
Throughout the whole battle, not once did you dedicate time building up energy in order to intercept a target. You just pointed your plane at red name tags. This is not an FPS game, this is a vehicle simulation game, and you need to think though your actions.
The Vampire, and the A4E, are high skill floor planes. I recommend using other planes to build up your air combat skills first.
Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! This helps a lot and was exactly what l was looking for. l’ve watched many videos about dogfighting and BFM tactics but l never know what to use and when. l usually get lost in the fight and start to turn like a mad man. l struggle knowing what the enemy is trying to do and how to counter them. Also my aim is horrendous and l’m not sure how to fix this other than more practice. Thanks again!
Running the game on a local machine, rather than streaming it on GeForce Now, will improve your aim, for starters. Your aim will get better too if you get closer. I have dogshit aim, but if you set the conditions right, you don’t need to aim much.
I think the most important thing you need to learn is reversals, as you seem to be choosing planes that are usually slower than opponents. Think of how speed affects your, and enemy turn circles. Your goal is to be like a parasite that lives within your opponent’s turn circle. Check https://statshark.net/fm, select two planes, choose “Turn Performance” under charts, and then see the differences in turn radius (diagonal lines extending to the top right).
Thanks, l’ll use that site!
Here are a couple replays of me earlier today. For the first match l think that l just got unlucky. For the second l don’t understand what l did wrong and how l got into that situation. These two battles are basically the average battle for me. Also l tried playing lower tier and arcade but the rewards are just too small and jets are cooler so l decided to stick to jets until l either get good (practice makes perfect) or until l run out of SL lol.
