How Does This Happen? 5.0 Vehicle in a 7.3 ARB Match

Kooky. That shouldn’t be allowed.

all the way to the right you see numbers, if 2 players have the same number, they are in the same squad for that match. if the number is on a golden shield icon, they are in a player squad, witch means they play together, and if player A uses a high tier vehicle and player B uses a low tier vehicle, they wil be put in the BR of player A

So basically one squad member is helping out another to power-spade his vehicle at the expense of throwing the match. Or compromising it, anyway. Wonderful >.<

not even helping, i do this sometimes too, just as a kind of prank

To that point, tho, in this case, the other “No. 1 Gold Shield icon” player, natas66, isn’t listed as being in a squadron. I’m so confused.

Inb4 muh fun

Inb4 inb4 fun is subjective

he is the other player in the squad

I thought the squad was the thing you joined - like in jeffery330’s case it’s -BadCo-. Seeing as natas66 isn’t in -BadCo-, I guess squadrons weren’t what I thought they were? What the heck am I in then: [GIGA]? I thought that was the squad.

It should always be allowed.
This isn’t an arcade game with such artificial restrictions.

yes they are squaded with an f80

It’s not a big problem if the uptiered plane is handled by a competent player.
Here is an La-9 at 7.7 from today:

I regularly bring the Ki-27, D4Y3, and F3F to 4.0-6.0, and can get kills consistently.
The Yak 2 KABB can take care of itself at 4.0.
The J7W1 can do fairly well at 7.3, and so does the P-51H.

Here’s a bit of video evidence that props can work if a decent pilot is in one:

It doesn’t help them out spading IIRC - would help getting “God Mode” or similar

You don’t have to be in a squadron to squad up with someone - 2 different things - you can squad with other people by creating or joining a squad.

He just got confused by a post from another player, that called a squad a squadron (second post).

Thank you for clarifying.

its kinda confusing, -badco- in this example is the “squadron”, whilst the number is the “squad”, im not sure but i thought that when 2 ppl in the same squadron join the same match, they are infact also put in the same squad

Better?

If you carefully look at the squad icons, you can see a different outline and colour. The ones that are fancy looking are manually created squads. Squadron members are not automatically put in the same squad, they have to manually join each other.
