How do wagers work?

10 and 5 kill wagers are best. 10 kill = 5 kills in Rb 5kills =3 kills in Rb

i really need SL, should i just use all my wagers?

I mean, there some wagers that are completely useless (Mission Maker and Wing Breaker) and most others are almost useless except for some special circumstances, so you may as well recycle those and only use the 10 kill and 5 kill wagers.

when you open the wager in your inventory you can hover over the achievements and it tells you what you have to do

What does stake mean? does it mean like how much money you make? and why is it variable?

Stake is how much you “bet” (it’s almost never worth doing below max).
The destroy 5 is likely the easiest to achieve as in GRB you only need 3 kills in one match for it to count.
Most wagers work on a success/fail system where you have a certain number of tries to manage to get what the wager asks for before you fail it completely. Most of them also work in the way where the amount of times you manage to achieve what it asks for gives higher and higher reward until you either max it out or fail and get the reward for where you are in amount of successes.

For example the destroy 5 units wager:

max stage is 3, so you can at most get 3 successes and then it auto finishes and gives you stage 3 reward.
Just below that is listed how many times you can fail before the wager completes. This one has 3.
Stake is how much you “bet”, the more you bet the more you win when it finishes (if you got any wins at all).

So for each success it goes up a “stage” and the stage you are at determines the reward you get when you either win 3 and get maximum or fail 3 and get the reward for the current amount of successes.

Lets say you fail twice, succeed once and then fail once more. The wager finishes because you failed 3 times and you get the stage 1 reward because you got one success.

You can only fail or succeed once per match you play.

I hope that explains things :)

Wagers are the poor mans premium. If you have no premium, they can help you gain cash quickly.

The easiest wager would be something like UNSTOPPABLE in Arcade Air, killing ground units. Give it a try before you try it with a wager on. Once the wager is on, you can’t turn it off easily. And ten games can seem like a long time. Practically, you have 16 games to get the award 10 times.

it doesnt have to be tank, it can also be plane. so you can spawn a plane or SPAA and play as CAP

I got that from an infantry back pack

whats CAP?

also hate to ask again for help, but i noticed i have like a ton of orders too. how do those work? ive seen people do stuff like antimech

The fact that no-one has said anything about how to do those wagers successfully is concerning.

If you’re going to go for anything like this, and even for most tasks in the game to just get them done reliably, ALWAYS squad… Full 4 man squads will make everything different, and if you tell the squad that you’re needing the 10 kills, then it can even work better.

There are wager grinding squadrons who do help, and they would be the best groups to approach.

With regards to SL, don’t buy the newest vehicle you unlock instantly, instead save up double what it would cost you to buy it and crew it THEN buy it. You’ll fall into a trap where you end up unable to buy the modification for the new vehicle, without being able to upgrade it, and end up paying for repairs.

Save your lions, until you get over a mil, and never let it drop below and you’ll never struggle.

combat air patrol, shoot planes with plane. the destroy unit wager in GRB is very handy when it comes to vehicles that you must shoot. if you’re good at plane go with light tank, cap a control point and get a scout assist or smthn, die, spawn in a plane and screw over every attacker in the sky. or 3 if you want to finish the wager.

ok so my squad’s kills count too? and can i do them in low tier arcade?

Nope, they can just make sure they try and give you the kill.

Either by tracking someone or making them unable to fire, and you can deal the final blow.

And you’ll find that you need to use a Rank 3 vehicle most likely. I’d not think you’d want to, but loading up a lineup with low BR vehicles ‘around’ the lowest rank 3 vehicle you feel comfortable in could make it easier, but harder in having to get them in that one vehicle, and use backups.

Best to just go with the best lineup you feel comfortable with, and get your squadies to equal.

Just make it clear to the squad what you need to get done, and hope that they can help you pull it off. It’s a good thing to fill your friendslist.

I told him where to start and to actually practice (get wager skill) before popping one.

no that is not how wagers work atleast not all of them…

there is also the battle victory wager which is among the easiest wager to do…you have to win a game every 3 games 10 times and you get the wager amount

Unfortunately, this isn’t how wagers work! You have at most 12 games total to complete the victory wager. You get your reward after either 10 wins or after you have lost 3 games total.
You description would allow you up to 30 games for 10 wins. But the strike counter does not reset after a win.

I never use Wagers - with my luck the battle I use it I get 1 kill. Then next battle with no Wager I might get 7 kills. I’m not consistent enough.

So I recycle them all (3rd tab on items screen) and hope for SL or good boosters. Even if you get more Wages (or crappy Orders) just recycle again. At one point I had > 100 unused items and recycled them all. Got a decent amount of SL and some great Boosters.
