A6M5s but jet version.
Because it followed a straight line. There’s nothing confusing and that’s what I have been trying to say
Yes I know. But the argument of outturning is much less efficient when the missile is not doing a Topgun move and following directly behind. This is exactly what I’m saying
Unless you have crew with level over 40, the pilot will black out and you will remain vulnerable to another missile, as most people don’t usually carry a single one. To “unblackout” you need to pull negative g, try to do that with the crappy hydraulic controls and huge wings that want to go up desperately.
7.7 is better than 8.0
still far too high for it when Thunderjet is 7.0 and Banshee is 7.3
F-84B is 7.0 cause it’s a F-84B and not a F-84G, F2H-2 is just undertiered and should be 7.7 but the playerbase doesnt like hearing that
It did not “follow a straight line”. It acquired the La-200, and started to pull lead to hit him. Because he was going so slowly, it did not need to pull very far to hit him. It looks like a straight line, but it isn’t.
If it is a direct rear aspect shot, you will have to pull harder for longer to dodge it. But that’s entirely within the abilities of a Vampire.
Press “W” on your keyboard. It will neg G you for a fraction of a second, preventing you from blacking out if you do it consistently enough without seriously affecting your pull.
By the time you reach jets (And especially very agile ones), you should have a pilot with a maxed G-Tolerance and Stamina. If you don’t, I’d highly suggest you play some planes that are less prone to blacking out until they are maxed. Or get the expert qualification, which boosts each skill by 3. Bit pricey, but at jet tiers it starts to become more and more mandatory.
Also, you’re clearly playing a stock jet. Once you get the G-suit, you’ll black out much less in turns no matter what level your pilot is.
What the hell are you on? I have accidentally dodged 9bs I was not even aware of in way less maneouvrable planes. The only plane I ever had issues with dodgin is the vautour (that bus cannot turn to save it’s life).
If the vampire player has a smidge of awareness the 9b will not hit.
Have you NEVER heard of a “bad launch”??
Yeah. But what does that have to do with what I am talking about? The 9b cannot pull shit and even in a straight perfect launch all you have to do is pull to the side slightly.
We got someone calling AIM-9B op before GTA 6 it’s crazy
You guys call the Aim-9b trash because all you guys do is shoot them like Navy pilots were doing in Vietnam
You cannot expect the missile to hit if you wanna shoot a near-perpendicular target
Yeah if you shoot it at 2km out
Even if you shoot it 500m out it’s not hard to dodge. But at that range guns should be preferred.
We’re not calling it trash, we’re calling you bad for dying to it in this specific plane
You seem to think it’s a R-73
You need to lead your plane to make it aerodynamically easier for the sidewinder to hit the target if you want it to hit a turning object
I did not die in the Vampire, I don’t even own it
Have you even used the 9b? It has a caged seeker you cannot do that.
Uh… no - the seeker tries to point directly at the heat source, ALWAYS.
There may be more advanced missiles that can “lead” a target, but the AIM-9B isn’t one of them!!
Hold on, this is getting super funny
We should have checked his stats earljer. Go do it now someone
