Actually, that’ll be my main guess at this point.
It’s good, but not that good. Its a reasonable middle ground rank VI premium.
KGV is so strong that we havent got her yet and Rodney I could see maybe moving to Rank VII with a small buff here or there
time to get a premium R class before a tech tree R class!
We got Event Renown and QE classes before TT and soviets have gotten an R-Class before Britain. So at this point, nothing would surprise me anymore

its a shame that Vanguard could not kept as museum ship and was wrecked in 1962 - so the only surviving big vessel of the RN from WW2 was the light cruiser Belfast.
Also germany missed to get the former imperial battle-cruiser Goeben from WW1 as museum ship when turkey asked about the now called Yavuz in the 70’s

Yeah it was, either her or something like Warspite.

wouldn’t call belfast very big at all tbh
I mean there’s also C class HMS cavalier but shes very small next to a town class.
Its very sad that we have next to no remaining battleships

Only 8 WW1/WW2/interwar left in the world sadly
Half of them are the 4 Iowa class battleships
Wake me up when there’s something Russian, please 😔
Personally i am glad vanguard isnt recieving super charges from what i can see, however, i am a little dissappointed that the high hardness XVIIB or XXB shell hasnt been considered(yet), i believe she will be really quite underpowered in terms of firepower. @Stona_WT Do you know if any consideration has been given to further shell improvements? Given some sourcework has been provided by HK reported iirc.

She isn’t? And why is that a good thing?
Historically accurate, and i think the higher shell drop is actually beneficial in naval battles currently.
Maybe, would be good to have both though, one for slamming broadisdes with and one for plunging fire
I’ve been waiting for this very moment.
Also when do we get the St Vincent class vanguard?
A better shell would offer both in one, much more preferable to a faster shell in my opinon.

Cavalier is still around. at Chatham docks. HMS Caroline is also a ww1 ship not ww2
they are both C class so you weren’t too far off, Cavalier is just what a C class was for ww2 until the 60s
Are there any carriers in UK?
I’m lucky enough to live within a semi-reasonable walking distance of this beauty, its a bit rundown on the inside, the places where its machinery used to be is almost always in at least foot or two of water, but lockdown wasn’t very kind to the place either
hell i’ll be working there for a bit in a few months
Sadly i don’t think the Cavalier would even fit into the game, with its stats being worse than the Vega., especially in Post-Refit config removing a turret and the torps, unless we get seacats to swipe Pe-8s from the sky
