Which is nonetheless incorrect as 2700 ft/s doesn’t apply to the 90 mm gun in general.
In a previous line they differentiate between M82 and M77 (it’s written M7 but I assume they mean M77) in their time to reach 1000 yards. But here they don’t differentiate between the rounds, which is incorrect as M82 does have a lower muzzle velocity, it just takes less to reach 1000 yards because it has a ballistic cap while M77 doesn’t.
So again, it is plausible that the velocities are rounded to the nearest hundred. This is the only way that the document would still be “correct” while reffering to the 90 mm gun.
