If it is SEPV3, Australia also has SEPV3, which means the UK could also potentially receive this vehicle. But if it is SEPV2, there is no doubt that it would be an American-exclusive tank. Of course, there is also another possible scenario: the Americans receive both SEPV2 and SEPV3 in this update.
If they go that road - I’m guessing the ‘real’ F-14D will be the premium, and the ‘planned but never happened’ one will go to the tech tree at a higher - and understandable BR.
The in game F-14B is actually the upgraded version of the B (as opposed to when the A+ which was A with new engines and all got it’s name changed to B) - which basically means the main in game difference between a D and B would be the in game cockpit would be a glass one, and that it has an IRST, can’t remember if the B or D was the newer radar but nothing crazy in terms of an upgrade (not like it went to AESA or something). All the other differences as I recall are things that don’t apply in the game like electronic warfare stuff to jam missiles and all. So - it’d make sense if that stayed at the same BR as the B (I know in Arcade that’s 12.7, but honestly the Tomcat’s need to drop a stage in Arcade other than the Iranian one that needs to go up one).
However - there was a plan to give the F-14D the software upgrade needed to fire AMRAAM’s (other than the one that had tested them way back) but that got canned cause money and politics, kinda like the F-15C GE where they decided not worth it. So it’d make sense to put that at a higher BR than the existing planes depending on which AMRAAM it gets and what other options for missiles it gets. Given that the MiG-29N exist at 13.0 in Arcade and the 30AMV’s are a thing at 13.3 in Arcade, it’d have to fall at one of those 2 levels unless they say it was gonna have a crazy number of AMRAAM’s and give it the better ones.
They should added the Hummel and another Artillery from WWII like Sexton, Priest or Wespe before the M44 for example. But right now with the M44 and M55 added ? add something like Hummel is just useless specially with the actual state of German TT.
The last thing Germany need is another casamate tank destroyer at the least the M44 have a heavy machinegun and speed. The Hummel is just another free kill for planes.

M1A1 AIM was added to the U.S. faction because it is an M1A1, not because she served in Australia. In fact, in a leaked image (authenticity uncertain, but the T90M in the image appeared in a video), it was mentioned that sepv3 would be issued to both the U.S. and U.K. factions. I know this can’t be taken as evidence, but some hopes are always good. There is also news that Challenger 3 mod2023 will be issued to the U.K. faction, which I also hope for. But pessimistically speaking, in this update, the U.K. faction might not get any of the above at all.
I hope we can get all the ammo for hummel including the 88/150 APHE and HE with rocket

Guys, this is the same SPEV2 that we have in the game. SEPV3 wasn’t shown in the teaser.
I doubt it is. After all, they’re adding the T-90M with Arena APS, so it seems like they’re going for existing tanks with APS upgrades rather than new variants like the SEP V3.
On the one hand - I am glad to see what I’m hoping is the F-14D finally being added.
On the other hand - I’m concerned what BR are we going to see it at. I may not have all the trees super high because the grind is way too long (y’all still seriously need to work on that, just remove the 5 battle cap and it’s all battles get the bonus or something) but I got US basically done except the lesser version of PoBIT you added and Japan up there, with access in other trees to some planes in that range. Now - I’m an Arcade player, I can do work in the Tomcats, more so when I bring them down to 12.0 and 12.3 to escape the 13.3’s -14.0’s being brought down in to 13.0-13.7 matchmaking, but the AIM-54’s aren’t competitive, at all. Someone spawns a B-52, sure, someone is dumb enough to fly straight in to them - yeah, but that’s about it. And most of the work I do with them - is guns, AIM-7’s, and AIM-9’s in that order, with the occasional AIM-54 kill. And when I face these things when I play other tech trees - which is rare cause almost no one plays them or if they do it’s like their 5th spawn plane - they get smoked, more so if any of the planes with way better ARH missiles are there. Only upgrades the D really has over the in-game B, because the in-game B is the B (upgrade), the D is basically that with a glass cockpit and IRST as far as actual gameplay is concerned, not sure how the newer digital radar will differ in game function. Most of the other stuff doesn’t apply to in-game mechanics and all. I mean - they could maybe go a little crazy with adding the 9X and I want to say 7P as options (I forget what the upgraded Sparrow after M is) but I seriously don’t know that that really helps it in BR ranges dominated by FOX-3 missiles that perform just as well as those, and way better than the AIM-54.
Also - to any who wonder why I say ‘hoping is the F-14D’, if you look at the tech tree the F-14A is title F-14A (Early), and realistically - the F-14B should actually be titled F-14B (Upgrade) because it has the ground strike capabilities and targeting pod access. There is, in fact, an F-14A ‘Late’ in the form of the F-14A+, that was later renamed B, but the F-14A+ before they added the ground strike abilities and all was basically the F-14A with the new GE engines, and a new RWR. Which it’s entirely possible that they are adding that in instead, or along side it.
