Why would a single Seagle have any impact on BR in any airmode. Given it replaces the gunpod.
It would obviously go higher in NRB, and that would be it.

We have no ASMs at that low of a BR for any aircraft in game. The naval map targets in ARB are not set up at that BR appropriately for such targets. So its current BR is not compatible with that option.
Plus the T.1A itself as it stands cant use it anyway. The centreline pylon is not wired for it and there is only port / starboard weapon selectors on board.

The aircraft that tested it was a specifically modified one.
There is also already 2 other Hawks in the British tree with appropriate BRs to use them with:
I’ve spoken to a bunch of players who’ve researched or bought the Hawk T, and from the looks of it, it’s unanimously agreed upon to be an abhorrent vehicle. This is down to both its BR placement and what it faces. It performs well against vehicles at 7.3 or below, struggles against vehicles at 7.7, and gets annihilated by vehicles above 7.7 (and emphasise on annihilate, I’m not even exaggerating).
This is a by product of attempting to place a vehicle at a BR it has no business being at. It would be equivalent to stripping the F-15E of its air to air ordnances and then placing it at a BR of around 11.3.
This vehicle should’ve effectively came into the game as a lower BR alternative to the Hawk 200, equipped with two AIM-9Ds or AIM-9Gs, the Sea Eagle anti-ship missile, and dual racks for its bombs and rockets.
Be cool if one day we got the Hawk Mk.50 demonstrator ZA101 with flares, 5 pylons, and AIM-9+Magic capability.
Plane’s been treating me rather well so far. 100% win rate over 9 battles.
Can’t quite get used to the gun velocity.
When the 9.0 blackhole ends, maybe I’ll feel the heat more.
you also need to keep in mind that being a gun pod it is slung really low, so your shots will be going lower then you expect to begin with, you might find turning on “vertical targeting” and setting it at the range you usually shoot at is helpful, but that is entirely a matter of preference.
Play more games and you’ll realise the Hawk T has many flaws. I’ve managed to play a little over a hundred battles without going insane.
Whilst my KDR looks impressive, that’s simply because most people around 7.7 fly with their eyes closed. My win rate currently sits at 69%. The more you play, the more your battle statistics begin to reflect more representative figures.
And before someone replies to me regarding the image I sent, I’m strongly against balancing based on statistics, because players like me are the reason vehicles like this may remain at their current BR when they really shouldn’t.
↑ Here’s an example of how the global Hawk T battle statistics differ from mine, and how two vehicles with identical performance, as shown in the image I’ve sent, can have different statistics.
I just got a feeling of dissonance for a bit after reading your post thinking “wow it’s really bad huh”, and then trying it out and seeing that the gun usually kills in one burst, there’s enough ammo for ace games, the maneuverability is good at high speeds, speed and acceleration are better than the F-84G (and it’s an EXCELLENT plane too).
I would much prefer it as it is now at 7.7 having a pure energy fighter role, over giving it missiles and it turning into a slow vulture missile carrier. The thought of 8.0s facing 9D/G is also a little scary. Don’t do that to them.
The best of both worlds would be Gaijin implementing a system that raises your BR if you equip missiles, and then both missile slinging fans and gunfighters will be happy.
The reason you may strongly disagree with my message or feel a sense of dissonance is simply that you’re either mistaking good personal statistics for an inherently good vehicle, or you haven’t played enough games and have simply been fortunate enough to have good matches.
The turning performance of the Hawk T and F-84G is quite similar at high speeds. Funnily enough, that’s where their turning performance is most comparable. Their acceleration and speed are also quite similar, up until 970 km/h.
And that’s something worth noting, especially since the F-84G is well known in War Thunder for feeling underpowered. This is less of an issue for the Hawk T however, because it doesn’t really bleed speed. That acts as a double edged sword though, as it’s genuinely a hassle to intentionally slow down.
Unless the aircraft physically flies between your rounds, and yes, this has happened to me on multiple occasions, as well as to Defyn, a popular War Thunder YouTuber. The positioning of the gun is incredibly awkward because of gun parallax, and the limited ammunition is obviously a major contributor to the issues with this weapon.
This is undeniably the best solution for some vehicles and would fix a lot of issues with this vehicle as well, at least for the most part. We’ve already got something similar to this in-game.
You can’t bring the Kh-31 on the MiG-27 unless you accept the fact that it’ll bring you up in BR.
Apologies for the lengthy message.
Happened to me too, pretty annoying
I don’t understand why this isn’t applied to all other vehicles. Too much work for their “statistiks” machine?
Hawk T is a lot better suited for steep energy traps though

Already got fan mail from someone, calling me a “fat fuck” for energy trapping his Ouragan.
You shouldn’t, it wasn’t long at all.
