Hawk 200: Wings of Prey!

Looks like nifty CAS platform. I wonder where it will be placed BR wise.

4x Mavs are at lowest seen at 11.3 F-5Es, but these dont have 9Ls. So it will likely depend on the FM.

I just realised that its also likely going to come with the AGM-65Es and not the IR ones. Meaning she’ll be pretty meh at CAS roles since SPAA at 10.7 don’t fear a loitering jet trying to laser guide a missile/bomb in.

more likely Bs, i dont think it has a laser designator to use Es

B+E visual model is roughly the same (both white) but D+G are distinct (we could also get H based off of visual model, but i don’t think we did/could use them)

Compared to the AMX A-1A double the IRAAM’s, plus radar and AGM’s, but at the same BR?

Hmmmmm…

btw ZH200 doesn’t have Radar

TV Guided Mavericks. RIP
There’s two types of guided munitions I hate, TV and Laser. The sight is clunky and for the most part you can’t use them as intended either due to render issues at range. And since the Hawk-200 isn’t actually a quick climber, good luck climbing for most of a top tier match to get to a decent altitude.
(I just realised the South African Gripen is the only plane in the British air tree that uses AGM-65Bs lol)
I don’t even use them myself, have to get in too close to SPAA with the Gripen to use them and nowadays there’s always an SPAA up at top tier.

the AMX is actually 11.0 with only LGBs and half the AIM-9Ls
This should be higher

its 10.7?

it is 11.0 in ground but i was talking air BR

Britain never had an operational Hawk 200. They were made for the export market.

As we mentioned in the blog:

But not the Night Attack Hawk 200. This was just a mockup according to the devs.

Coming to 1st or 4th line on great britain tech tree ?

But I don’t know it’s lights multirole aircraft or attack aircraft (like AV-8B Night Attack)

Huh, I always thought the Hawk 200 NA actually flew…

But since you mention other Hawk variants, I wonder if we’ll end up seeing the Omani Hawk added at some point…

Hawk 200 with AIM-9Ms/ Magic 2s with Active Skyflash/AMRAAM

That would be nice in the future

The mfds and cockpit look pretty neat

I hope:

a) that the HUD is modelled correctly with working Flight Path Marker (up to now exclusive to Hornets and Su-30)…

b) that they finally add the HUD page visible in your screenhshot on the right MFD also for aircraft that are missing it, like the Hornets…

Well India operates them… That was a great opportunity to use this subtree

Really? Don’t you mean Indonesia?

Both but Indonesia isn’t a Britain subtree
Edit: nvm it was the Hawk 100 series, I didn’t remember correctly. I probably did confuse it with Indonesian ones since I’ve done research on both air forces

India does not operate the Hawk 200.
