The F-14D never serviced the AIM-9X or test fired the AIM-9X.

Aim-9X is backwards compatible
Most jets would theoretically be backwards compatible with the 9X but it doesn’t mean they’d get it, especially a jet that didn’t service or test it.

Most foreign American jets used the Aim-9X before they were officially compatible with it because it was backward-compatible.

Next update :) jk, We have no idea. Just keep an eye out for leaklists and if this suggestion ever gets passed to developers.

Probably this year. Personally, I think next major update will be stuff like the Superhornet, F-2A, Gripen E, and maybe even planes like the Mig-35
Gripen E should be released with F35 because Saab claims them to be comparable

Would like to see the F-14D come at the same time as the F-14A late, which is also is not currently in the game.
Exactly what I’m wondering. Gaijin has stated that pilot testimonies aren’t sources or valid enough in any capacity to warrant an addition such as this. We would need better evidence to prove something like this.
