With the glide bombs they have a long travel time they can take advantage of, but this is gimped by the sight stabilization range.
For example you can climb from the start and do ccrp to one of the bases that is outside the sight stabilization range currently and it can lock be dropped and hit the base. If you do the same thing with just using the targeting pod to aim to the base being at the same altitude and speed, the glide bombs will not hit the base due to the targeting issue.
This means if you are going to attack ground targets that are closer than bases, you cant lock on to them because those are outside targeting range with the pods thus limiting the usefulness of the satellite guided bombs to engage ground targets. Making strike aircraft having to get closer to to the fight and getting shot down by fighter aircraft that are not carrying a bunch of heavy bombs. This is going to lead to people just hitting bases as hitting stationary ground targets is not feasible as you will get shot down before being able to get into range to drop the bombs.
This is basically giving planes the AHR missiles but saying they cant lock onto a target until they are 8 miles away, even though the AHR missile can shoot over 30 miles.
Please fix this limitation on the ground targeting.
