Greek Aircraft and Tanks Coming in Sky Odyssey!

A) only 1 prop for Greece? C’mon

B) No low tier tanks for Greece like T-34-85(M2)?

C) Where’s an actually unique Greek tank like the Leo 2s with the 105mm L7?

D) Where’s my Cypriot stuff? I demand my BMP-3.

Where are the Aim-26Bs gaijin?

On the Dev stream you showed that you modelled it after the CL-13 Mk.6, when it reality is a Mk.4 IRL

It also used Aim-9P-4s, where might those be at?

You didn’t mention to F-104G, but I got a BIG question. Why is this plane getting countermeasures it didn’t have IRL, while the ROCAF one still is the highest BR plane in the game without countermeasures? They’re the same aircraft, if you’re giving countermeasures to one you should give it to the other. There’s a reason no one plays that plane.

(I’m really happy about this addition, don’t get me wrong, but I’m doing my best here to ensure it’s done right! Kudos to you gaijin for such a large plethora of vehicles being added at once, can’t wait to see it all on the live!)

“Greek vehicles”
Looks inside
Not a single Greece-designed vehicle

The focus is an air Subtree, they have none that can be added right now. A future ground Subtree could allow for this.

shhh

Salt to the wounds basically

Taking a nation of which virtually the entire ground fleet is made up of german made-, developed- and/or modified vehicles and shoving it into a tech tree that has nothing to do with any of it for the sake of wanting a quick solution for lacking lineups.

And then we also get to observe how somehow this vehicle gets to have the same UFP protection as Strv 122 while 2A7V still doesnt for absolutely 0 valid reasons. Very cool indeed.

This is straight up false Info, The Armor Package found on the 2A7 performs worse than on the Strv 122 so its not comparable.

Can we please also get singapore sub tech tree (instead of Cyprus) for Israel? At least sg won’t be pure copy paste

I agree actually.

Give Cyprus to Britain

Adding Greece to Israel (certainly an interesting creative decision) still doesn’t solve the major issue with the Israeli TT of fewer players choosing to start playing it due to the lack of low tier equipment, especially Ground.

Makes even less sense for the HEL because that one has German armor (Swedish one shouldn’t be that different but that’s their argument)

The damage model as well. The Strv is more survivable in my experience.

its realistic with the current greek economical inflation (feature they intended)

lmao

Subtrees have just been an excuse to copy-paste top tier vehicles for a few years now. Greece and Israel don’t even have any connection besides being kinda sorta in the same geographical region. But Greece has Leopard 2s and Rafales so of course Gaijin wants to shove them somewhere. See also Australian Abrams, Indonesian Leo 2, Malaysian Su-30, and essentially any F-18.

Like I literally don’t get this, why are people wanting to sell it at below on what is it and still cost higher ?

And this has an added challenge for players starting the Israeli tree.

They start with untrained crews at rank IV, while opponents have crews that have been trained up

So even for the same vehicle, the Israeli one will likely have slower reload, less health, slower repair, etc

Will this happen immediately with the update or will there be some kind of indication?

Can we expect a ground premium to come aswell?
