Notes:
Will update the main post to include these soon. Thanks to @BSpiel8 and @ImportantSimone5 for your suggestions!

There are 2 vehicles I would really like to add but I’m lacking information on:

  • Chaimite with Armada 60 or 90 rocket launchers
    • Either mentioned as M20 90mm Super Bazookas, M1 60mm Bazookas, or a domestic design. Haven’t found anything conclusive

541658

  • Libyan Chaimite with some sort of ATGM launcher or MLRS

If anyone has either information on the rocket launcher model for the first, or more images of the Libyan model, please share!

Posting it here due to no Ibero-Hellenic/Greco-Iberian Air TT proposal. Spain is procuring the Hurjet to replace their aging fleet of F-5’s

The Chaimite V-200 Armada 90 uses 88.9mm rockets. Those rockets were bought from Instalaza, who at the time made Super Bazooka copies, so it’s likely to just be M20 Super Bazooka ammo. The 60mm is a misunderstanding that goes around online since it mentions it also has “60mm grenade launcher”, this actually refers to the 60mm smoke launchers that’s also present in the basic V-200.

Huh, I have always heard that they were 60mm rockets, which goes to show how easy an accidental fact can spread in such niche online spaces, thanks for clearing that up.

Awesome, thanks! Will add it in the next update then.

Do you have any source for this btw?

Not entirely sure if this is Portuguese or not, it may be Rhodesian instead

The recoilless rifle is also the Soviet B-10, that I’m not sure if Portugal ever serviced. Granted, I’m not sure if the Rhodesian security forces did either, so it’s possible to be a captured weapon.

The image was found in this thread.

Hello, friend.

Thanks for adding the T-34-85.

Regarding the T-80U. Cyprus operates the T-80U and the T-80UK. The T-80UK has an improved turret armor. So you should theoretically have them both.

Also, although not featured in Warthunder originally the T-80U came with no thermals, while the T-80UK did. It is said that all T-80s on Cyprus are equipped with thermals, so this might not really matter.

Moreover, if that name of the T-80U is that of an EOKA hero then I suggest you remove that name, as Warthunder might complain about it being not “politically correct”.

I should also draw your attention that Cyprus operates a bunch of other interesting vehicles: List of equipment of the Cypriot National Guard - Wikipedia

Here is your personal suggestion for Cyprus: Kerveros – Three-gunned monster

P.S The picture you used for the T-34-85 standard features the M1919, although it is a bit hard to see. Cyprus really didn’t have a “standard” T-34-85, it was either the M2HB or the M1919.

Thanks for the feedback!

True, but I wanted to minimise copy-paste. I chose the base T-80U only because of the skin/name, it could be either.

Good point, it wasn’t intended to be a political statement at all! Although, in my (admittedly brief) googling of him, he appears to have been a Greek soldier, not part of EOKA-B, you can correct me if I’m wrong though. Then I can try and find a better version, either a different named T-80U, a base non-unique skin T-80U/UK, or something else entirely (maybe you have a suggestion?)

True, again though, I wanted to avoid copy-paste. For example, the AMX-30B2s were left out because I already had Spanish AMX-30s (and their more unique/domestic upgrades). I didn’t see the need for the two van-based ATGM vehicles, there are maybe too many ATGM vehicles already in the tree. Aside from those three I don’t see anything suitable for the game in that particular list that isn’t in this tree. Perhaps some of the SPGs — I initially wanted to include the 155mm Mk. F3 but I a) wasn’t sure about BR, and b) wasn’t sure if it was suitable for the game given it can only carry 2 of its 8 crew in the vehicle, and iirc can’t carry many (or any?) rounds itself.

Already in the tree!

Ah, good catch, I’ll update the name or just clarify that in the information about it.

Makes sense.

However, with the amount of Leopard 2s (copy paste central) in the game, 1 additional T-80 type won’t hurt. The Soviet tree has an unreasonable amount of them. Perhaps the U can be part of this tree, while the UK can be the premium.

The Cypriot VAB with ATGMs I believe deserves a space at least.

When it comes to the dude, I believe its best not to mention him at all, Warthunder devs might not care less to search weather he was or was not part of the group. I told the same to the guy who made the user skin. Up to you. Cypriots have more than 1 camo pattern for the T-80 tank.

That BMP-1 for the Greeks with the ZU-23 is also a unique thing, the Soviet Afghan special.

Otherwise check this out:

That could work.

In the tree at 8.7 (name V.C.A.C UTM-800).

Fair, good point. Will have a look for an alternative.

Already in there (6.0)!

Also already in the tree (6.7).

Here’s another Cypriot vehicle most likely as a premium, event or squadron vehicle, the EE-9 M-4

Considering how the AAC-1937 is already present in the tree, I think this one would make a good 1.0-1.3 event vehicle, for the custom skins if nothing else.

Thats what im thinking, its a very sleek looking thing so an event reward or premium would be a neat spot.

Another pic of the Hispano Suiza mc.36, this time a front view of it
