So every M60A1 AOS was upgrade to the RISE standard by 1978 when M735 entered service ?
IDK or rather I’m not going to go dig and find out, because it doesn’t matter because each, AOS or RISE, represent those different historical time points.

I peronally hated T95E1. Playstyle is too much passive for my liking due to lack of stab and any meaningful armor. Thing could IMO drop to 8.0 and be totally fine.

T-55A does not have “APFSDS” in the understood meaning, T-55A’s “AFSDS” is its APDS round converted to FS. It’s the same round, just with less chance of shattering.
Good APFSDS rounds will increase their BRs, and all 8.3s in the game are currently balanced based on their existing weapons.

In the case of the T-55A historically it should use the 3BM8 and at most the 3BM20, leaving the 3BM25 for the T-55AMD and AM1, that is, giving it its real penetration, since the penetration that the 3BM25 has in the game is the penetration of the 3BM20. The 3BM20 was created as a bullet that would give similar performance to the 3BM8 but spending less tungsten in its production, while the 3BM25 was an improved version of the 3BM20 but with a larger and heavier tungsten core, giving better performance than previous bullets.
Seems fine to me. Obviously each of us has a different play style, appreciate the opinion.
It you want an advice for the T95E1, sitting in a nice spot in a power position can withstand really hard punishment and hull down is a power multiplier.
Issue is M60A1 AOS at the same BR can do that too while it fights better at range thanks to rangefinder, and has stab so its not useless outside of hulldown position.
Sure T95E1 gets dart but the sabot on AOS is no slouch either AND it has HEAT-FS.

Giving an example the only ones that doesn’t have are the Type 74 and M60A1 (AOS)
I agree with giving the Type 74 C M735 APFSDS, HEAT really struggles in the full uptiers and APDS feels very random.
APDS in general is really inconsistent, sometimes it vaporizes T-55s without even touching fuel or ammo and sometimes don’t even make ammo in the Gepard yellow
Seems fair, as almost everyone said. That’s why I didn’t said it was a necessity, just an addition to flexibility of the MBTs.
