And while you’re lambasting the T86 for being “copy paste”, you’re simultaneously advocating for a DD tank or Hobart’s Funnies, which while definitely interesting are no less “copy paste” in terms of parts shared than this one.

IMO this is a good event vehicle. Not C&P and not extremely unique/powerful to the point where the people who missed out on it feel bad.

Its a “kitbash” of an LVT and the M-18.
The DDs are historically significant vehicles. Especially in the context of D-Day.
Unique 3D model and cockpit, I’d consider that unique.
Okay if you think so thats fine to me.
This is how it should be. Use these events to show off different units or pilots, using TT vehicles. Or make the Battle Pass about different units and keep these events as prototypes/one offs.

i like having different vehicles in the game, and we have a few amphibious vehicles in game, but what we dont have are maps that would utilize this function. There are some maps with deep water but the vehicles move so slow in water they are completely exposed and easy targets.

this is an american event so a centaur, churchill or any Hobarts funny wouldn’t fit.
A sherman in the colours of an American unit that was at D-Day would have been nice to honour who was there
wouldn’t be able to use it tho, the fabric bathtub could only be an aesthetic thing as you cant shoot with it deployed. A deep water wading kit the Americans used in the pacific could have functionality tho

even in the jungle map where are creeks with steep riversides they are all not very deep. It would be ok to allow amphibious tanks to cross some rivers where others can’t. This wouldn’t take that long time. The problem is to balance this because not every nation has these tanks in alle BR

Spaced armor does wonders and according to my infos its going to have a stabilasor. So it could be quite strong in the end.

It was much taller than your average Hellcat. Also, looks like there will be gun depression issue over the long, flat hull.

For some of us, playing normally means maybe 4 battles in a regular weekday if that, with roughly 1-3k score per each, and therefore getting 35k score over two days is a grind. Hence why I ignore most of those events anyway.
