They could have added the one off meteor with sapphire engines that supposedly had TWICE the power of the mk8’s engines, but it’s hard to tell in its footage if it actually had guns in the test.

BVVD said the mig25 will come as either an event vehicle, or squadron vehicle. So it coming to tech tree is unlikely :(

Im glad we arent having a british air event space wasted on a meteor. They are not very good in game (excluding sea meteor). besides we got the handley page last event so we arent gonna see anything for a bit

There are more than just those in a match, and it has a climb rate of 40 meters per second.
The Meteors are rather nice in-game, though I’ve primarily played the Mk8s due to their speed.
The Meteor F.8 (the new one is almost identical) does not suck. It’s one of the best planes I’ve flown in the Israeli air tree and the most fun. It turns like the there’s no tommorow and has great guns and great engines. It’s an amazing aircraft, although I can’t tell you much about the British ones as I haven’t played them. The Israeli one however, is spectacular and extremely effective at the BR it sits at. Even when it fights MiGs and Sabres it has a fine time dealing with them.
Great plane, but brings nothing new to the game (unless they give us a black and white camera view for distance zooming or something lmao).

I’m honestly happy about this. There are a few points I would like to make,

IMO This is a good event reward for a fair number of points.

IMO I would hardly count the C.10 we got as an Israeli vehicle as it is the lesser export only version.

IMO Israel is underserved by its TT, Premiums and event Vehicles.

This will expose more people to the Israeli vehicles which IMO is a good thing.
I’m excited for it even though I have every Israeli vehicle unlocked.

the israeli ones are basically the same as late British ones.
They are kicked to death by boom and zooming superior, newer fighters all the time so just arent fun to play. It can turnfight but only morons try to do that at such a high BR
Of all the planes that existed, this is definitely one of them. For a nation that is already 99% copy paste, one more won’t make it much worse…

Anyone who says Israel is 99% copy paste clearly hasn’t played enough of it.
There are a ton of Israel specific mods to existing weapons platforms. Most of what you may consider as copy paste behaves differently than its counterparts.
It’s still quite potent and more than capable of dealing with those fighters. Even when they have an energy advantage, so long as I has enough energy I can play my cards well enough to survive their attacks. It’s a really great aircraft, easily the best 8.0 I’ve personally played. Although I heard that one 8.0 MiG-15 was pretty rad.
