HVARs are getting to their limits by 5.7 that’s tragic
and no recce camera mechanics yet is sad. I wanna be able to use the FR47, Gr7 and T10 camera to scout stuff. this would need that to even be kinda ok as a vehicle
Well during test flights without load I can’t really tell the difference between this and the Israeli Meteor F.8.
Maybe it will perform differently when all the upgrades are purchased?

Why would it? It is almost exactly the same aircraft…

I was initially hoping the camera would have some functionality or that there would be a different weapon load out option. I’m still thankful for the decals. I just wish we got a better event vehicle.
I dont think it works this way. Recon photos were analyzed after aircraft has landed, not in flight.
For aerial ‘real time’ recon we would need liaison aircrafts like Fi 156, Lysander or Grasshopper

I understand where youre coming from but we also get bright icons hover above spotted tanks so the game isn’t going for milsim functions, it would bring a more teamplay focused role to some CAS craft
Play 2 sim matches today.
Match 1:
F4U-4 and P-51D30 diving on people taking off just out of the yellow flash.
Match 2:
Constant attempts to strafe planes taking off by a Yak-9P that crashed right after each time. Be-6 also constantly dying to airfield.
And P-61s flying low near airfields to strafe people with their third person mouse aim turrets.
I love air grind events.
At least this was funny (suspicious influx of level 10 accounts in sim tho):

Air SIM needs a line of defenses in front of the AF instead of at the AF. There are so many fundamental problems with the game mode during these grind events.

First glance in this event I was personally like naaah, some meteor, nothing special.
2nd tought it’s also for israel, naah I dont play it so much.
Then I realised it, this event is actually hidden gem for players, and why?
Israel aair tree starts on rank 4, and this event jet is rank 5.
Sure it is just a meteor, but hey would you rather grind israel air on Sakeen or this. So yes, thnx snail I dont have to play sakeen anymore not even a single game after this event.

So the argument for grinding tihis event is that the resereve aircraft for Isreal is somehow worse than grinding this event.
Thays actually the best reason for grinding this event I’ve heard yet.

Not just somehow worse…
Playing sakeen is like grating own nuts in cheese grater.
And avoiding that feeling there is 3 options before this event.
- Dont play Israel air.
- Open wallet and buy some premium to avoid it.
- Playing older israel air tree even and suffer on xp loss while researching rank 4.
Ps. This event is also just 30K points / mark so it is also more enjoyable in a plane what you actually like to fly

That is because you don’t play it where it is strong. The Sakeen is a great aircraft in arcade and an excellent grinder.
It has 3 spawns, so your RP revenue is high. A talisman is a good investment on it. In arcade, the high RP income will give you crew xp quickly.
I don’t know why people getting mad about it , as if GJ owes us some freebies t8 or something…
And i criticize GJ with their decisions very much the last 10 years , but that plane isn’t something bad or something to cry about.
That i -personally- might not need it, because i’m already past that tier for IL , doesn’t mean that there are not players that need it for their grind (tali and you grind t4/5/6 , not bad at all ).
The jet itself isn’t something special, but i prefer it from giving something they can’t balance well.
And i’m not grinding it intentionally…30K points just happen.
Yeah I dont play arcade.
Yeah I’m not investing talisman to something what I dont really like to play.
So yeah I rather play air in something what I like to play and get that 30k points in few games.
I’m not crying about that plane, I just keep it so bad that I hate flying it. It feels like a brick on wings compared to planes it faces. And that opinion cant be turned, and I’m glad there is other people in this hate sakeen “club” :D
And I’m not crying either about that meteor , like I told I keep this event as hidden gem for gamers who hate sakeen and israel air is jamming cos of that sakeen grinding.

An actual top tier SPAA, because I don’t feel so good when I have to fight the F15 flying in low earth orbit dropping GBU-s or a Su34 launching insta-kill nuclear ICBM missiles from 20 km, and all I have is a little shitbox Machbet

Do we already know whether next event vehicle will be Naval or Ground? IIRC last year vehicle was Ground and then they went for double Naval during summer.
