But not when they received the F-14. They were friendly to the US when they bought it. There’s no reason to give it to the Russia.

I really doubt any significant amount of Iranian people play war thunder based on the state of the country, access to electricity, and Internet access. Also, why can’t the US have a US jet that’s actually exclusive to the US tree.

If want - u can ask for another Iranian premium Tomcat (standard) from times when they be friends.
But US, mustn’t have a F-14, with R-27.

Superior in what way? Afaik it has worse range than AIM-54 due to different motor
So only confusing thing is those R-27’s and the Yasser rocket. The R-27 never worked from what I can dig up and the only place that the rocket is ever mentioned seems to be warthunder itself, so yeah, weird.
Otherwise neat plane. Not really gonna affect me other than to wonder why it gets inaccurate loadouts but yeah, don’t really play the planes so it’s just a neat plane with a suspiciously inaccurate loadout.
Over 60% of Iran lives in poverty and 1/3 in extreme poverty. I believe Iranians have quite a bit more to worry about than what tree a Iranian used aircraft goes to.

Why in the world would it go in any other tech tree? At the time of the export and purchase of these aircraft, Iran was a US ally.

Yasser should be correct but I’m not so sure for the R-27R, they should keep it however as it was indeed mounted on the aircraft even if it wasn’t fired. The YaK-41 has IRST in-game even though it was never mounted and operated but only planned.
This would at least make it viable as a missile in some forms over the AIM-7E-4 and make it more unique compared to the other F-14 variants already available for the US.
India also has a high rate of extreme poverty, would you call it a poor country?
Oh neat, well I’m happy to be proven wrong on that one. Looks like a Hawk Missile with a new warhead strapped on. But that’s a clever addition.
