Quite easy to do as well especially in sim
What planes (and mods) do you use to get IAR?
Being at 9.0 doesn’t mean it magically can’t be used in a 9.3 lineup…
Very excited to finish this and add this to an Italy lineup!
Gotta say, I’ve been a fan of a lot of changes to the game over the years, but imo discontinuing the “objective” style star events and crafting events in order to form the new mission score based even cycle is possibly the greatest quality of life update the snail has ever given us. So many enjoyable vehicles already in just the past year and they’re sooo easy to grind just playing the game as I normally would.
Thank you all, and please keep this system for a longggg time.
I use the Premium A-10 Warthog and the F-14 IRIAF. Also tried my Su-39 and had a nice match. Two Stars are already done and I hardly paid any attention to my progress. Due to time constraints I might have to buy some of the Stars though.
I agree wholeheartedly. The old task based Event Grind is what cost me the Ka-Chi back then, because it just completely overwhelmed me and I did not really know how buying tasks worked yet. Bought one and stopped.
Thanks to the Battlepass Rerun Box I finally got my Ka-Chi at long last.
I’m just playing BR3.3 - 4.3 with various nations in AB - getting 2500-4000 score a game mixed ground/base/air pounding
I’m playing the Mig-21Bis-SAU and the Mig-23MLA so I can grind the Mig-29 while playing the event.
It’s fairly easy.
I’m grinding out China, Japan and France by just vehicle hopping on whatever I feel like.
Mostly J-7D tho
I just finished Israel, so for my next country grind, I made it an objective / challenge to try and grind all the Hungarian & Romanian vehicles, only using vehicles from these two countries
So to that end, I’ve largely just been using the prem BF-110G-4. Carries enough napalm to destroy two bases and then hopefully down an enemy player after. (You tend to get swarmed though lol).
I figure with it being rank III, if I can use it to unlock all the IV’s I need during this event, I can then put a Talisman on the IAR and use that to take me all the way up to the starting edge of rank VIII.
Here’s a score from the “New” ground Strike maps imposed with the Update that have the spawns move so far back, even jets at 8.0 would have difficulty making a decent score on them. If you would please share your secrets as to how to earn this “4000” score you claim, I am sure many of us would love to know the process. And is this scoring you’re making before or after the 10% penalty we receive for playing AB and NOT playing the higher tiers where they are given an actual bonus, because apparently it is so hard to make a decent score at higher BRs?
I can’t see it anymore with the “new & improved” Player Profile in game, but the last I checked I was ranked 76th overall for my career in the PvP rating, so it’s not like I haven’t been able to score well over the years. And I can honestly say, I rarely see more than 4 -5 total players scoring over 2000 missions points per game, especially during these events where games tend to end rather early on a much more regular basis, where a handful of greedy players can and do end games so fast not even they earn a decent mission total. Granted some maps score better and some games do play out longer and have better overall scoring, but nothing near what you say you are making, so give us the tips … because what you’re saying sounds miraculous to me
Like I said - a RANGE of scores with 4599 being the top I’ve received today - and bombing bases, units and air combat - usually the bombing gets me more points than air combat - it is easier.
But a lot of players seem fixated on air kills - I’m not great at air combat and I find them an unreliable source of score, so I pick on hte easy targets on hte ground as much as I can.
Plus I have 8 crew slots so I can keep doing it for a long time with backups.
There is no penalty for AB, there is a 0.9 multiplier for Tier 1-3.
I’ll post links to replays once I’ve finished current game.
ETA:
This is a 4400 score game - so about 4000 pts to the task: …aaand it looks like something is screwed with copying replay links…
Domination match so no base bombing, 5 kills, 23 ground frags
Screenshot of the replay page so u can look for it yourself:
Here’s another one with 4599 pt score - several tons of bombing
I also did a couple of Tier1 games using event vehicles (Fw-189 and AR-196 - they didn’t score so well!), and a couple of BR6-7 games - only got 1 of the very large maps - Kamchatka - and yes the 109’s struggled to get into the battle on that one and it wasn’t a great score.
Gripen and Tornado F.3 in Sim battle
You only need 12,000 points in a game to complete the challenge
Oh I agree, most games are populated with a good many there just to pew pew pew and “chase tail” as it were, and map knowledge and playing the objectives “efficiently” come into play more and seem required to garner a good score. Was not disparaging you in any way, I just do not see anyone in the games I play doing nearly as well as what you were saying. I didn’t/don’t doubt your word, just pointing out that this is far more the exception than the Rule. And Gaijin’s incessant need to make all these types of adjustments based solely off “data”(from skewed stats at that) and not really playing or testing them enough to see the effects on game play before they implement them into the live client is much more the issue.
That Sinai map, the spawn points are now over 30 kms apart, before it was just over 15 kms, this is nowhere near a “slight” adjustment, as they have snuck in on us in the past . . no notice, warning, announcement.
Mountain Valleys & Spain were already like this . . clearly jet spawns at mid BR’s, I generally just leave as they are a waste of time . . . oh well for any boosters and the like . . . tough noogies. Almost every Ground Strike map has now been spread out in the same way . . . African Canyon, the one you actually scored well on . . might be one of the few I have not noticed a huge move to the spawn points.
And your score there would seem to indicate . . . they will most likely move those spawn points back as well . . and pretty soon™ if I am guessing . . .lol
Anyway, you’re a good egg, please don’t think I was attacking you. But these excessive game changes, with zero communication are one of the biggest examples of Gaijin shooting themselves in the foot(imho) and doing so with little regard for effects on game play & player’s enjoyment of their product seems counterproductive to me.
And the 80% of players that just seem to be in there for the pew pew pew and disregard most everything else . . . I’ll wager they are also the “Silent Majority” that never comment/post about what they see, feel or think about such things, so no one really knows if they like this stuff or not . . . C’est la Vie . .
have good one
p.s. I play naval in RB mode and like the bigger ships, so I can knock out these event requirements in no time, the disparity of the “penalizer” system is stark, vast and wholly unfair to the majority of the player base and what they play.
(and I liked the task based early events the best as it was easier for me to do the way I play . . lol, to each his own . . . [we can all agree the assembly events were muy stink-O el grande tho])
And Biggie Tito’s post above just proves my point, why/how can a player do two days worth of scoring requirements in ONE game, while others who do not choose to play Sim, do not want to or cannot play high tier, why are they punished and required to play 10x, 20x or even 100x longer to get the same thing?
It makes no sense and cannot be rationally justified in any way . . .
9.3 → 8.7 unless it gets its guided weapons and the Yugoslavian version’s armament like agm-65 and r-60
Why would the romanian aircraft get the armament of a different aircraft
Its not gonna get guided. the IAR and J-22 are not a straight copy and paste of each other
IAR-93 never had guided weapons and didn’t & can’t have the same armament as the Yugo version
And the Yugo version never had R-60s
I already explained it many times already, so stop trolling at this point.
+m1 kvt doesnt even exist as it is in game.
Who are we to say how far gaijin will stretch the reality of a vehicle for money
Yeah but its a farcry between the 2
J-22 had a different Cockpit/Avionics and pylons used for different things. I get the historical side of things because of the example of the KVT but Gaijin is not making money off this event vehicle compared to others like the Iranian Tomcat
But wouldnt they make more money if they make it atleast good. So its in gaijin’s best intrest
